I always pop into this cute little shop in Yorkville when I'm down there just to see what they have.
I'd say 90% of their products is geared towards dog owners with a very small section of cute items for cat owners. I've picked up a few cute gifts for my cats and for my dog owner friends too.
They don't just sell pretty dog treats and outfits for pets - there are some very practical items too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. One of the most useful items I've picked up there is a stainless steel ball that is designed to help dogs that gulp down their food eat slower. -

It's quite something to see a woman hum and haw over a dog collar, a deep crease of worry between her brow, her hands delicately inspecting one collar (plain brown leather) and then the other (crocodile brown leather) and letting out a deep sigh and stuttering, "I....just don't know which one he (presumably her dog) will like!"
I wanted to say, "Lady! Your dog won't like either one. Collars are more for the humans than the dogs. Why not buy "him" a treat instead?"
And GOD do they have cool/tasty treats at this place (yes, I've tasted them). Right now it's all Christmas themed stuff, but in the summer they actually had treats that looked exactly like a burger and fries....and sorta tasted like them too.
This is yet another place to spoil your pet and buy silly things to dress them in and take pictures of etc. etc. etc. when all the dog is thinking is, "WHERE'S MY BIG MAC!?" -

My dog got his favorite toy from there - a cake squeak toy! And his alligator toy... and of course his Malucchi collars. Italian leather and Swarovski crystals! Wow.. so fancy for a pitbull. And we bought 3 of them at $100/a pop.
