Review from Robert K.
"My Favourite Ice Cream Shop" is a tiny, hole-in-the-wall shop just West of Yonge on quiet, tree-lined MacPherson Avenue. They offer a good selection of ice cream and frozen yogourt, supplied by Greg's and Denali. A single scoop, at $3.50, was small and over-priced, but too delicious for me to be unhappy about it.
They also offer milkshakes, for which I will likely return. Apparently, you can add sprinkles and other such toppings, if you're a stupid moron who doesn't know to leave well enough alone and enjoy the simple perfection of a good old-fashioned ice cream cone.
The store is tiny, but there are picnic tables outside for your sitting needs.

Review from Jackie P.

My Favorite Ice Cream Shop would have gotten a 4/5 if they spared a little more generosity with their scoops.
There's nothing I hate more than a place that stinges. Given, I am at the time of the month when my cravings are working over time and all I want is something ridiculously satisfying. Like two heaping scoops of ice cream to sooth the woes. Yes, it's such a cliche, but true.
My 'Favorite's' almost has the whole picture of the iconic ice cream experience: hole in the wall, greg's ice cream, frozen yogurt for the rosedale ladies watching their waist line, picnic benches outside and a lively street, with birds chirping, trees swaying and children and dogs by the dozen.
What they lack is the friendly, un forgiving service you expect from an ice cream shop. It's been awhile since I've had Greg's ice cream and there were a bunch of new flavors. Unfortunately for any ice cream shop owner I lean on the indecisive side and tend to want to try 1-2 flavors. The woman serving me was frustrated that I wanted to try at all. I finally chose my pickings and when she handed over the cup I was shocked to find it sadly sitting in the middle, looking very emaciated. I'm used to my ice-cream swelling and dripping over the edges; this wasn't even trying. For $5 of ice cream I expect to wonder to myself, "can I actually finish this?" I licked the bowl and still wanted more.
Overall, the ice cream is great, I enjoyed sitting on the picnic tables and taking a break from work. They seem to be pretty busy albeit small portions, but that doesn't surprise me. Many people in this area are willing to drop a small fortune on just about anything.
