Good food, reasonably priced for a tourist area.

My wife and I arrived in Niagara Falls and wanted to grab a quick lunch before we set out to see the sights. I was drawn to My Cousin Vinny's because of the 1992 movie with Joe Pesce.

The service was very slow. We waited for 15 minutes before the server came over to take our order. The food was standard and fulfilled the need, but my burger was slightly overcooked. If we had to choose again we would have gone somewhere else.

Everything in Niagara Falls is way overpriced, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised by the prices on the menu of My Cousin Vinny's. But it's still a little disconcerting to pay $20 for a plate of spaghetti and tomato sauce. We chose this establishment because it was within walking distance and wasn't a chain that we've heard of before. This might be the first time I regret not just going to Applebee's or TGI Friday's.

The spaghetti was just so-so. It was served with a salad that was basically iceberg covered with a thin layer of other greens to make it look fancier than it was. I was also given a basket of cold bread with cold butter.

Our waitress was friendly when she showed up at the table, but we waited so long for our check I almost had to get up and find her to complain.

The best thing I can say about this place was that I was no longer hungry when I left. I wouldn't go back to My Cousin Vinny's if you paid me. Ok, well maybe if you paid me, but I wouldn't necessarily be happy about it.

So so food for an averaged price restaurant in that area...

The pasta dishes were very greasy and the pizza was below average.  Our server was new but she was good... A bright spot in an overall not so good experience...

Oh btw, they did have nice flower decoration around the building and worth the time to check them out even you don't go in.

I was surprised when reading the other Yelp reviews that rated Vinny's so low! The experience my family and I had was great! We were drawn in by their award winning (no really--it won some awards) floral display out front and were greeted immediately by a very friendly hostess who was willing to talk through their menu options for my dietary restrictions. As someone who lives with Celiac disease you cannot imagine my excitement when I found out they offered GLUTEN FREE PASTA! I was on cloud nine! Not only did they offer it, but they allowed me to substitute it into ANY meal! This is something that very few places offer and everyone was stoked that not only did it seem like they had great menu options, but that I could eat more than one of them!

The great service didn't stop there. Our waitress went above and beyond, helping make recommendations and keeping our drinks and plates full. The food was great and it was the best (homemade) gluten free pasta I have ever eaten. The portions were large and we all left stuffed!

It is pricey, but not more so than anywhere else in this tourist area.

We would definitely go back, both for the gluten free deliciousness and the service!

The food is incredibly overpriced. My boyfriend and I both ordered pizza. The ingredients were frozen and the crust was stale. The cheese was even frozen. Disgusting.
I couldn't finish my pizza so I asked our server if he could wrap the rest up in a doggy bag. He brought out a container for me to do it myself. Don't bother going here. It's not worth the money or experience.

Food was only average but the worst part of the meal were the prices. As another reviewer pointed out, this place is a tourist trap. I regret not checking Yelp before we decided to try it out. Won't be back for a return visit.

The food was so so. Not great but not bad. Would not go out of the way to eat here again.
