Great place .. went on google maps bc I was on vacation and was so impressed .. yael was a fantastic acupuncturist and jaimie was a exceptionally pleasant (she is actually one of the owners but was doing the front desk - how cool!) I would recommend this place to everyone and really abided by the rules of health and wellness

What a cute little place tucked in PB! It wasn't too hard to find since it was off of Mission. They were very accommodating within a 24 hour notice! We walked into this cute little establishment with a nice beach themed ambiance. They immediately offered us tea, water and chocolate. Even though my mom and I didn't have our massage at the same time with two different people, the wait was worth it. Cary did an amazing job and was able to get rid of all of my knots!! What I also enjoyed about her was that she was very friendly and sociable. She made me feel very comfortable lying on the massage table and I didn't have that awkwardness vibe like I have had with previous massage therapists. When we left they even gave us a card for 15 bucks off next time we come. The price was is well worth coming back.

I found Erica on through an online referral website and decided to give her a try based on the positive Yelp reviews. She was able to accommodate my need for a Saturday appointment, which I appreciated. She contacted me the day before just to confirm the appointment and the morning of, let me know that she will likely be in session when I arrive but she left paperwork and a parking pass out for me. Very thoughtful and because she communicated beforehand, I was not surprised or annoyed that my appointment started twenty minutes late and helped myself to green tea while I waited.
I have had acupuncture in the past and while I've never had a bad experience, I haven't had an overwhelmingly positive effect in the past. I found Erica to be very nice, calm and professional. The table and head cradle were comfortable (not always the case at other places I've been). I felt relaxed after my first treatment and am looking forward to my second! I will also try her for massage based on the raving reviews. -

Love this place! Adorable office with a super friendly staff. My go to gal is Mrs. Kellen Pickard for all my acupuncture and postural needs. She is always so helpful and kind and I always leave feeling way better than when I walked in.

Had a great massage from Erica today. Very relaxing with plenty of pressure. I called yesterday and they were able to fit me in within 24 hours. I highly recommend Erica.

1st off, everyone should know that I'm calling 5 stars "Woohoo! As good as I've experienced!", NOT Yelp's description of 5 stars as "Woohoo! As good as it gets!", since I don't have sufficient experience with this type of service to say it is as good as it gets.
Natalia's massage at My Acu Spa was great.
Very professional, attentive, great intent - and it left me feeling good :-)
Her massage room was very pleasantly decorated and comfortable. The other staff members and owner I met there were all very nice, as well
I look forward to my next visit there. -

I love going to Acu Spa for my monthly/weekly facials. Dana Garced is wonderful. She always has great suggestions and advice to help keep my skin looking the best it can be. She provides a very relaxing atmosphere too. I never feel rushed. It's actually therapeutic for my soul. And I come away glowing from the expert care she gives to my complexion. I highly recommend her. You will be very happy with the results!

Came down to SD for a weekend from LA intending on a relaxing spa and beach weekend, and that is exactly what I got!! I am big on facials and usually try to get one every 6 weeks or so. I went in and had a 90 minute facial with Dana and WOW,best facial ever!!! My skin has never looked more clean and refreshed. Dana spent alot of time discussing what my skin needs and how to maintain a healthy skin regiment. I bought some of the organic products she used on me and I am seriously thrilled with the outcome. I most definitely will be traveling back down to SD for my next facial with Dana.

I get a lot of massage (deep tissue) and have never come across anyone as good and attentive as Erica! She was amazing!!! I have the worst upper back and she really took the time to find each and every knot and pain point to work it out. She is very courteous, professional, and personable and I can not rave about her enough. I live in Santa Barbara and will try and see Erica when I'm down in SD for work. She is a diamond in the rough that is for sure!

Natalia can do it all! From the soothing, relaxing, stress relieving massage to the hard core, get down to the problem, deep tissue sports massage. It's amazing what this woman can do with her elbows! And lets not forget her energy work. I dislocated my knee and she gently honed her positive, spiritual energy and seemingly transferred healing properties to it. The arthritis associated with the dislocation has completely disappeared. I don't know what this lady is in tune with but she provides a well-being, nurturing vibe. She pulls out all the stops with an atmospheric environment/music, bells, warm towels, and healing stones to create one hell of an overall experience like no other. You can't help but to walk out from a massage treatment from Natalia feeling rejuvenated with a new, peaceful sense of good health.

So, after pumpin' iron (ShakeWeight), shootin' 'roids, tannin', and doing laundry, I know I want to feel as fresh as I look. We all know what that means...massage.
I get set-up with this honey named Dannie. She's all like, "Oooh, you must workout a lot. You so fly."
I'm like, "Yeah girl. I ShakeWeight for at least an hour at a time."
At that point she fainted, but I get that all the time. After I applied some of my smooth moves and fragrant lotions, she woke-up and got back to work.
Laying on the table I got to thinking, "DAMN, that feels good." I was going to holla at a girl but she already fainted and I didn't want to go through that again. So away she went, rubbing here, rubbing there, digging here, and stretching there. At around that point I blacked out from pleasure.
When I regained consciousness I realized my hairgel was melting from the heat given off by the intense friction between me and Dannie's...hands. Oh, I also found out that I was drooling but I totally played it off.
Oh, before I forget, that girl is a straight up ninja! I was laying there, thinking of going tanning or maybe ShakeWeighting after, and next thing I knew she had hogtied me with a sheet. Well, not exactly hogtied, she called it draping. If whipping a sheet around with enough to cause tectonic shifting is called draping then forgive me. Where I come from, we call that ninja.
Anyways, if you're in the mood for a massage I suggest you pick up your celly and call My Acuspa. I've gone several time and they have always given a perfect happy ending to my day. No, not that happy ending.
FIST PUMPS AND JAGER BOMBS!!!!Listed in: Oh Yes, I REALLY am THAT GOOD!

Get a massage from Erica...she is professional and has a very calm nature about her. The massage was great and she definitely gets in there and works on your sore muscles. Have never tried acupuncture but if I decide to, Erica is someone I would trust!

Dr. G is amazing! He's not a typical chiropractor that just cracks the back. He's caring and thorough and does unique sports therapy like I've never seen or had done before. He's always looking at my long- and short-term bone health and is very educational. The benefits my body has reaped from his therapy have been life-changing. Thank you, Dr. G!!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Went here for the first time last week and was stoked! I showed up to check in and the girl at the front desk greeted me and gave me a cup of tea... perfect. My appointment was with Brett to get some acupuncture work done on my back. I really needed a great treatment cuz I was in a car accident two days earlier. Brett was amazing! He made me feel so comfortable and really listened to my needs. The end result was the best treatment I ever had! If you love your body, u will love this place!

My mom came out to San Diego to visit me and we wanted to do a spa day together so I checked out several places and found that My Acu Spa had a great price for full body massages at $65 per person for an hour. We then used a $10 off coupon for each of our massages! We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit to My Acu Spa and left feeling happy and relaxed!

Dannie gave me a massage that has completely changed my expectations for all future massages! She was most attentive to my specific issues and adapted her massage technique as she gauged my reactions to her movements. I've never had such an interactive and effective deep massage . . . and I'm afraid that until I see Dannie again, I never will! If I could give her and the beautifully renovated spa where she practices more stars I would!!

I love My Acu Spa and I love love love Dannie Stubbs. She is now my "go-to" massage therapist and I will be sending all of my friends to her. I can't believe I am saying this, but I have NO PAIN in my right shoulder right now. Usually, it is all knotted up and is in constant pain and discomfort. But now, nothing. NO PAIN. So, Dannie is officially my hero, a miracle worker, and a damn good massage therapist....not to mention that she has a super sweet, friendly, and calming demeanor, which definitely helps when you are afraid to let anyone go near the area of your pain. I still can't believe I don't feel any pain right now. Thank you Dannie. And thank you My Acu Spa!!!

Had a massage with Erica this week. Bought a Groupon Certificate for the chiropractor next door which included a massage, so my expectations were not high. I was not disappointed. Erica did a great job. She found all the knots in my back and worked on one by one. i felt so much better afterwards that I have another appointment for next week!

I Love getting my accupuncture with "Yael" Ben Porat, here at Acu Spa and her office in OB 1804 Cable St. So refresh and relaxing. I have been going through different accupuncturist and never had any Luck of finding a really good one. "Yael" is far the best and I've stopped searching since. I am definitely a regular with her. I've had upper back shoulder and headaches that are just too much to bear sometimes and "Yael" made it all better and continue to see her. she is a true Professional in her field of expertise and very personable. She listens to how you feel and what you want done- Unlike others who does same treatment routine for everybody. With "Yael" you are "somebody" I finally found the needle in the hay stack, Thank you "Yael":)

I was referred here by my boyfriend. It helped that I had a discounted voucher for massage too. We both get massages from Erica & recommend her to our friends. He's had acupuncture as well & had great results. I'll be coming back as soon as I run out of my other vouchers. =)

Erica did a great acupuncture and massage for me. I went here to redeem my http://ELIVELIFE.com certificate. Erica has fascinating hands. The acupuncture feels like a pinch when the needles are in your body. I would definitely recommend Erica to other friends and family.

Erich is an amazing acupuncturist. Though I met Erich at Adam's Ave Integrated Health, I wanted to post for him here as well since he works at Acu Spa too. Erich takes the time to listen and make sure he gets all the information. I really appreciated that. He is very thorough with his diagnosis and he put me at ease with his calm, peaceful demeanor. The treatment was excellent. Erich really spent quality time working on me and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. After the treatment I felt incredible. Like a new person! This guy is very talented. He is kind and patient and has wonderful energy. You definitely have to go to Erich for all your acupuncture needs.

I found a daily hookup for $35 half hour acupuncture and half hour massage online, so I bought 2, one for myself and one for my fiance. We were booked with Cary Clark. We went in and the place looks small but homey. There were two girls at the front desk, one being Cary, and they were both very sweet and offered hot tea. My fiance went first and when he came out he looked very happy and almost zombie like. I went in, and Cary took special note of my back injury (I have 2 herniated discs from a car accident 8 months ago, so i've been living in constant pain). She made me feel at ease, explained how it all worked, made sure I felt comfortable. It was amazing! After 10 mins of relaxing with the pins in me she burned an herb and laid them over the needles which made them warm and it felt awesome! She then gave me an upper back massage, so not to aggravate my discs and I was done! All I can say is it was wonderful! Everything from Cary, to the warmth of the room to the relaxation of acupuncture was just fabulous! I got a great price from the coupon, but the service is definitely worth every penny of a regular priced service!

My AccuSpa is great! I have been referring people here for months now, especially Dr. Greg the in-house Chiropractor/Nueromuscular therapist. It's an important distinction that he is also physiotherapist as I feel this separates him from previous chiropractors I've used. I'm an avid surfer and a hairstylist, two things that wreak havoc on my posture and muscles/back. Greg works on athletes (surfer's mainly) including locals and pros like Mick Fanning to prepare them for contest peak performance, which is pretty impressive. His approach to not just back care but total body posture/performance is unique to what I've experienced with other chiropractors that just crack your back and send you out the door in five minutes. Greg typically spends quality time with me assessing my condition each visit as if it's the first time. Most of it is passive bodywork followed with a final adjustment. I really recommend you try him even if you don't believe in chiropractic care as he does more than just adjustments. I've also had some acupuncture here as well that was helpful and my buddy had some Theta readings that he said positive things about if your into new age therapy.
