Came here with some coworkers for dinner. We ordered 5 Turkish pizzas for the 5 of us. The meal came with complementary soup or salad which was a great start to the meal. We enjoyed all the items we ordered! Pizzas were cheesy, savoury with crispy crust. Some of my favorites were #2 and #5. (I believe they were the beef and lamb Turkish pizza)
The portions were great and the price was very fair. Highly recommend!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Karl L.North York, ON14146314Mar 31, 2024
My visit at Mustafa Turkish Pizza had both hits and misses, making it difficult to rate the place. The restaurant has a unique interior resembling a grotto, with nautical decor and wooden tables that suggest a seafaring adventure. It was interesting, but I wasn't sure how it complemented the Turkish food that was served.
The menu was simple and straightforward. Each dish had a name, image, and price. The prices were quite high. What stood out to me was the lack of free tap water, which was a first for me in Toronto. They only offered bottled water or tea, so I ordered tea.
Lentil Soup: It came with the Beef Kebap that I ordered. It was flavourful, a little spicy, and very hot. It was slightly over-seasoned in my opinion.
Beef Kebap: The meal was huge. The smoky aroma of grilled steak was enticing, and the meat was tender and juicy. The bed of rice was white but well seasoned, absorbing the juices and adding to the dish's richness. The oiled pita was soft and gave me another thing to bite into in between meats. The issues I had included some meat pieces were over-charred, and veggies were not evenly grilled. The peppers were underdone, and onions were nearly raw. A bit more attention to grilling would have improved the meal's overall quality. The meat pieces were over-seasoned.
Their standard black tea, unsweetened and simple, was satisfactory but unremarkable. Service-wise, the staff were amicable and seemed eager to assist, adding a touch of warmth to the encounter. Access to the washroom was an unexpected challenge, with narrow stairs posing a safety concern. The cleanliness of the men's room and a non-functional soap dispenser were additional drawbacks. They seemed to have a very good selection of desserts, but I had no room for it after such a hearty meal.
In summary, while the food provided good value, the cost did not align with the overall experience. Also, certain items were overseasoned, which bothered me a little. The restaurant's policy on water felt like a misstep in hospitality. While I'm open to exploring their takeout options, I would not return for another dine-in.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1646127Dec 31, 2023
A friend suggested checking out this restaurant, was a good choice for me cause it was close by to my work.
Small resto with interesting cave like decor. I never had Turkish food before so it was interesting to check out.
Not a very extensive menu. We opted to try the mixed meat kebab plate. Came with beef, chicken and Kafka chunks on a bed of rice and traditional bread. Everything was cooked well, but could have been seasoned more.
I liked the rice, it was light and fluffy. I also liked the bread, very thin and went well with the Kebabs. But honestly it was wasn't anything special.
We also tried the Baklava and Turkish goat milk ice cream. I'm glad tried the ice cream. It was very rich and creamy and not like any ice cream I've tried before.
The staff were all friendly and attentive. This restaurant was worth the try but the food was not ground breaking. We didn't try the pizza, perhaps next time.

Food was decent. We especially enjoyed the minced beef pide. Very reasonable priced. Space was small but didn't have to wait on a Sunday evening. They don't have tap water, only bottled water for purchase. Slightly strange. Food came quickly, but service was close to none existence. Would probably better be a takeout place.

Got the meat option with rice, it comes with salad and a man. Portion was huge, enough for 2, for a price of 18 dollars--which was really good. You need to wait for 15-20min for pizza, we will definitely be back to try it (we were in a hurry this time). The restaurant has a very unique interior design, we will try to come back and sit-in for the whole experience.

Ordered via Über. This place never disappoints. We ordered the lamb and mozzarella pidé and the lamb and beef pidé. Each pidé arrives with a fresh salad with gorgeous feta cheese.
We waited way too long before we ordered Mustafas treat during this pandemic! Why!?This place was always busy when we dined in, regardless of the time of day or evening.
Refined home style Turkish food. On point freshness, flavors and quality of ingredients. A bit more expensive, worth every penny and calorie.Helpful 16Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0Aug 24, 2019Previous reviewThis place has been around for a while.
Be patient, things take a while. BUT WORTH IT. We always get the lamb/beef tomato and vegetable pide. We've had their spanakopita inspired one which is also gorgeous. Dough not heavy like a rock.
Its one of these places one takes for granted.
THE BEST TURKISH PIDE ever. Ingredients are fresh, place is always busy. 100% Halal. Fresh knaifah if you're not on diet. Several brands of juices from Turkey. The variety of pides are extensive. Authentic and true to their Turkish heritage. This place is always bustling.Sep 12, 2016Previous reviewThis place never disappoints. Unique decor/furniture. The food is exceptional. Fresh, quality and huge portions. Had lunch with a colleague today and ended up taking 3/4 of it home. The beef/lamb combination with rice and salad is prepared with a lot of finesse. Their flatware is unique and unusual. Background hint of oregano and well-seasoned meat.
The moment you sit down, you are presented with a nice salad, various salad greens and good-quality feta cheese. This is a solid place. They also have sweets if you're interested in blowing the calorie budget. Highly recommend this place.Feb 14, 2015Previous reviewHad the spinach and (good quality feta) pide ... I am so totally addicted to this amazing place. Very nice owners and staff, friendly and warm ambiance. I really, really love this place. I could eat there 7 days a week. I asked one of the ladies who prepares the food to include stuffed eggplant on the menu - a very famous Turkish dish ... I hope they do. Everything here is FRESH, CLEAN and delectable. Go there! You won't be disappointed.
Feb 6, 2015Previous reviewI went there today with my colleagues. Exceptional, quality food. Fresh ingredients, well prepared, very clean (spotless). My colleagues loved the food, including me. (Massive portion, impossible to finish in one sitting). I had the pide (lachmajun) which was absolutely gorgeous. Soft, tender dough, perfect. Took out a lamb and beef pide for husband who said it was very nicely spiced, dough was a perfect texture even after being re-heated, and totally not greasy. The side salad was perfectly dressed, not dripping in dressing and good-quality feta cheese. This place deserves five stars, hands down, no question. They have a wide array of pistachio sweets/desserts ... I think I'll be visiting Mustafas on a regular basis ...

I went here for dinner one night with a friend. We thought we'd try it out. It was a busy little place with a wide variety of food on the menue. We ordered Sujuk Pide which is basically the best idea if you can't pick one thing as it gives you a taste of 6 or 7 toppings and a spinach and feta Pide. Both were good, but the spinach one was definitely my favourite.

This is the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been. A Turkish friend recommended to me about it. I drove all the way from a hotel near airport. It is worth to try. I had mixed pede and my family had Beef Kebab. They are all so delicious. Owner Mustafa is very friendly. Ice cream and Kadafe added the highlight to our delicious festive lunch. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and appreciate my Turkish friend who recommended this place to me. I will visit this place again.

I came in with my SO for a late night snack, so we got a Lamahcun Pizza for pick up, process was fairly simple, and we got our pizza about 10 minutes after ordering, which was extremely quick. Unfortunately, we didnt get to eat the pizza for another 30 minutes when the pizza cooled down and got a little bit soggy. The flavor was still excellent, and they added an extremely generous amount of meat to go with the pizza.
I definitely want to try the dish again while its hot and crispy, and since tue restaurant has an interesting interior that resembles a cave, I think a return visit is in order the next time I visit Toronto!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
