A lovely little place! Bright light, dark wood, friendly service, and delicious food. The choice between light roast coffee and dark roast alone makes me happy.
Yes, service was a bit slow, and the entrance wasn't easy to find, but honestly - for Niagara falls, NY, this place is a gem. -

Lousy service and cold coffee, Starbucks is down the street.

After a long trek on both sides of the falls (Canada and US), the bf and I ended up on the US side at around 2:30pm, not the best time to get something to eat... and according to the Yelp app, not the best place either. So, with little expectation, I resigned myself to pub food at someplace called "Murphys", replete with celtic-like writing and name.
And to the fellow Yelpers out there who expect this same thing, you're going to be disappointed... until you try their food.
With a firm belief in breakfast as food no matter what time of the day, both the boyfriend and I got the egg, steak and cheese panini with a side of chips. When it arrived, it was unassuming and innocent-looking, masking the fact that it was possibly one of the most delicious sandwiches/paninis ever. And it was. The flavor of the egg, cheese and steak went fantastically together; the bread was grilled, panini-style, with possibly just the right amount of burnt. All in all... amazing. The chips were normal, but who cares :-)
And oh yes, the people in Murphy's at the time, an older lady, a younger man, and a kid helping out, were all friendly and congenial. None of the over-fussing you tended to get when you're the only customers there, but also not forgotten about. -

Went there based on some of the glowing reviews posted here.
They must be friends of the owners...or...it must depend on who is working.
Our waitress & kitchen person did not seem to want to be there. By far the poorest service during our 4 week trip to the east coast.
We had a couple of wraps which were fine.
Positives..attractive decor with interesting artwork...
relatively reasonable prices(better than the Indian restaurants nearby)...
Negatives...really slow blase service...
with a "take it or leave it" attitude...
when I asked for tap water waitress said "we don't do tap water"...
Would not return...would rather pay more & dine at the Indian restaurants nearby. -

Service is ridiculous here. They should hire someone who can communicate with the customers ad at least knows the menu, sheesh! Major Fail!

It was our third full day in Niagara Falls, NY and boyfriend and I were not feeling Indian food or the other sub-standard fare we encountered in the city. We wanted diner food, and a quick yelp search brought up Murphy's, because apparently there are no diners in all of Niagara Falls (which is honestly not that surprising I guess).
The entrance to this place is a little bit weird... it is located in an office and/or apartment building (I couldn't quite tell) so you enter the building and then enter the restaurant through a sterile and unwelcoming office door.
The interior, however, is cozy, bright, and clean, a stark contrast to pretty much the rest of town. We sat on plush chairs at a shadowbox-type table filled with coffee beans and articles about the cafe.
We were given two one-sheet menus; one for breakfast (served all day) and one for lunch. I didn't really check out the breakfast menu but the lunch menu had a handful of options that mostly fell under the wrap and panini categories.
We each started off with a cup of soup. I went for the tomato basil and he tried the chicken and veggies. The soup came in actual mugs, so I got more soup than I was expecting for the price of a cup. Both of them were great but I think the tomato basil was better. His broth wasn't the greatest but it had giant veggies and large slices of chicken.
Then came our entrees - a rib eye steak panini for me and a beef fajita wrap for him. Both were served with what looked like ruffles potato chips and were good for what they were.
Overall, the bill came to 30ish with tip.
On the downside, service was quite slow. I'm not sure why it took so long to make two sandwiches. -

Well the style is causal and good I admit that, but the waitress kinda push you to order food. There was enough empty tables, so I cant see any reason they've done this.

Parking an issue. Very limited breakfast menu. My daughter loved her peanut butter, banana & honey sandwich. The other offerings were uninspired.

I don't give out 5 stars that often, but this place is great. To start, the people were great. The food was really good!
I went for lunch. I had the Caesar Chicken Wrap. The chicken was done just right. Everything was fresh. The price was very reasonable.
I can't recommend this hidden gem enough!
I will return! -

The best place to get breakfast in the area, but rather on the expensive side for what you get. Not happy that the OJ comes to the table in little plastic bottles - as if we don't already have a huge plastic waste problem. It was the best place to get regular breakfast food, but lost a star because our clothes stunk like grease for the rest of the day.

Very close to Niagara Falls attractions. Short walk from hotels and local vacation rentals. Good prices, great food, convenient. Highly recommended.

Best place on the American side of the Falls for breakfast. (Try the Murph Ham Omlette for a breakfast that will hold you until tea time...). Prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly.

be aware of this place, do not even try to go there ! we came to this cafe for breakfast. waited 50 minutes for 2 eggs and bacon. finally it we got it, the food was cold, bacon overcooked, portions are really small. and i cant forget the waitress ! she was such a b*tch and rude ! we left the place hugry and in a very bad mood, the whole day was ruined. this is the only bad memory of the whole niagara falls trip. i hope they will close their business pretty soon

I think this is the best place to get breakfast and deli sandwiches in the Niagara Falls area. Everything is prepared fresh. The owner/server is very nice. My only regret is I didn't buy the homemade truffles when I could have. They're sooo good!
