Mumford Video belongs to a disappearing group: independent video rental stores. Located handily on Mumford Road across from Olivet Street (which houses several apartment buildings), they have a corner on the market in that there are no other rental agencies anywhere close.
When we rented there, Mumford Video ran great specials on week-long rentals, saving you the desperate 6pm dash to the video store to avoid late charges. Their inventory is diverse and they carry multiple copies of new releases.
Mumford Video loses points with me for their sad website; no information is available regarding hours or contacts. There's not much point in throwing up a website if its functionality doesn't meet your users' needs.
Nonetheless, Mumford Video gets props for staying in business in a corporation-dominated market. -

Mumford Video is a local rental store.
This store is not huge but has a great customer service and selection.
The staff here is great, they will check and hold movies for you, no problem.
They also have free popcorn for you to munch on as you browse around deciding.
You can also buy movies from them. They have a great used section , so check it out.
This is a great little rental store that has been there for quite some time.
