When I first thought about going to Moxie's I had the impression that it was going to be way to overpriced meals and small portions. but with my recent trip here I was pleasantly surprised, it is almost the exact opposite of that.
First off it's downtown so the parking is crap but they do have some kind of validating thing I'm pretty sure. When you walk through the doors you are immediatly greeted by eye candy everywhere. If it's not from the cute girls in stripper dresses as waitresses it's the absolutly beautiful decor! I mean wow this place looks nice and there are big booth's everywhere with a lounge as well!
We came in on a Monday night (P.S $3.99 pints of beer special on Mondays) and we were immediatly greeted at the door and brought to our table. It wasn't too busy at all but we did come around 630. Almost right after that our waitress came to the table for drink and app orders . The service was very quick and friendly, always around to bring whatever you need from more drinks to more kethup.
I ended up ordering the veal & pancetta burger from the new spring menu and I'm so happy I did because it was probably the best burger I've ever had. The meat was perfectly cooked, very tender and juicy, and it came with the usual burger toppings but with chipotle aoli sauce which was amazing! My girlfriend had the seafood linguine and I tried a little bit of it and I must say it tasted amazing as well, I would definatly get that the next time, or any pasta for that matter they all sounded soo good, lol.
The prices arn't outrages either, I mean the service is excellent, the decor and atmosphere is top notch, it's located right downtown on Richmond st. The waitresses are smokin hot and the food tastes amazingly good! What's not to love about moxies if you ask me? The only thing I notcied is the steaks looked a little overpriced, but other than that this place is top notch for a casual dining experience. -

This location makes parking a nuisance, but the decor is swanky and they do their best to accommodate food intolerance/allergies. The service wasn't especially friendly, but I've certainly had worse.
I've been here 3 or 4 times and the food quality is consistent. It's not terribly exciting but it's probably better than many other chain restaurants. Food presentation is elegant and the drinks menu is decent. Bathrooms are 5/5 stars all the way! -

Oh man, back at school and left without the cornucopia of choices possible in Toronto.
I tried the combo platter and well , the wings were ok, bread sticks ok, heavy batter on the chicken fingers and soggy calmari. Horrible. The service is slow, the waitress's seem to be talking to each other all the time but no where to be found when I want to order. Inexperience is the greatest struggle for this mediocre restaurant. -

I'm torn. Great food, beautiful decor, hot girls.... But TRAMPY. my girlfriend nearly choked on her meal when our waitress bent over at a Neighbouring table and she got a full view of vagina. Seriously. The waitress' dress was short, and she wasn't wearing underwear. I had to pretend like I didn't enjoy it, but....

To echo some others, the waitstaff is attractive, but they do have an attitude. The manager and chef came to our table to address our allergy concerns and they were GREAT.
The food was good, not great. The prices were high given the quality and quantity of food. -

Only been here once and it was a good experience overall. As reviewer Shaun R mentions, the decor is really nice inside and the servers are very attractive, both of which make for pleasant viewing. Our servers were very polite and took my allergies into serious consideration which was nice. We had the bread with 3 dips as an appetizer which was good but nothing overly exciting. My main was the herb oven roasted chicken with goat cheese, wild rice pilaf, and vegetables (mine was broccoli). The chicken was nicely moist and tender and it was nicely enhanced by the herbed goat cheese (nicely tangy). The wild rice pilaf was serviceable and the broccoli was a little overcooked but I'd rather have slightly overcooked broccoli rather than undercooked. The dessert was the highlight of the meal as we had the tasting trio which consisted of a white chocolate brownie (didn't try that one), chocolate espresso mousse (nicely strong and rich with a smooth texture), and sticky toffee pudding (terrific). A good experience overall on many different levels.
