This place moved to a new location on 2nd (just off Lonsdale) a couple of year's ago, I think. I've had a few lunches at the new location and all were good, although it was a small crowd with lots of empty tables so the staff had plenty of time to ensure everything was done right. Recently we dropped by for appetizers and drinks before dinner, and again the food and service were excellent.
So far the wild mushroom risotto has been my favourite dish. It's got a drizzle of truffle oil and some Parmesan that work together to make it almost "meaty".
It's all here though, steak, pasta, fish, prawns, pork, chicken, salads, - whatever you might want to have.
The room has a 60's feel, and is comfortable. I like this spot for romantic meals, but we were comfortable here with our kids, too. There was no issue with the kids being unwelcome, but it's not a place that caters to kids, either.
Killer dirty martini.

The Moustache Cafe is a Euro Chic restaurant offering a casual dining experience in a modern ambience with soft jazz playing early evening and graduating to funky house and lounge music with after 10pm
Fantastic Bar for meeting friends or other people from the neighborhood.
This is a must go to place on the North Shore of Vancouver!
History
Established in 1990
Chef Geoff Lundholm is the third owner of the Moustache Cafe. He took over the business in 2004 and relocated it to the Lower Lonsdale of North Vancouver, also know as the LoLo District or LoLo.
His motivation to move was to create a downtown restaurant in this new upcoming neighborhood for locals and tourist to have a place to meet, drink and eat great food.
This is definitely one of the hippest joints in town and the upcoming events for 2010 are going tight!

Meet the Business Owner: Geoff L.
Chef Geoff brings downtown euro chic restaurant to the north shore, he has 18 years cooking experience and has been running the show at the Moustache Cafe for 6 years. Hard working individual that was brought up with a philosophy that the table is always open.
My table is set for you and your friends or opt out for the bar and see the action in the open kitchen where you can request us chefs to make you something that might not be on the menu.
