Review from Richard S.
Toronto, ON
Once or twice a year when we visit the in-laws in Quebec City we make a habit of going to Moss for the Mussels Volente' (all-you-can-eat). Served with Soup and great fries!
Make sure that you try a couple of the different kinds...I think there are 24, but my favourite is 2 Moutardes (Two Mustards)....that and a great choice of Beers and excellent service make it a fun night.
Enjoy! -
Review from Mary B.
It doesn't take much to make me happy sometimes... actually it can take only 3 things: mussels, frites, and bier. While up in the great north I got a hankering for Belgian staples and decided give this place in the Old Port a shot.
If you do not like mussels, then you should probably go elsewhere. If you love em, then you have literally 25 different ways to get em. My boo and I tried the 3 mustard and Portuguese styles. Both were good, the flavors could have been a bit more intense but the portions were huge. Frites were nice as well, I think the mayo was homemade? Possibly. Add in a Leffe Blonde and I was proclaiming that all was right with the world to anyone that would listen.
There's outside seating which is a bit cramped but lovely on a summer evening. I didn't really see the inside except when I had to scurry inside to use the facilities. The service was a teeny bit slow but the waiter was very nice and I really had no complaints. Belgrific.Listed in: The QC
