I would first off like to clarify that I am giving 4 stars for Sue's amazing manicures that she has given me several times. If she did ever leave Mosheta, I would not go back, its as simple as that.
I have tried getting my nails done by a few of the other nail technicians here and each and every one of them has butchered my nails. Sue is the only one there who knows what she's doing. If you are going to book a mani here, insist you have it with Sue, if she is not available go somewhere else!!Listed in: Polished

Oh god no. Don't even THINK about going here. Trust me!
This place is the effing worst. My friend went here and got a wax job and said it was decent. Obviously due to the nature of the wax, I couldn't inspect it for myself. Since this place is mega cheap, I thought MAYBE it could be one of those hidden treasure type places where I could get shit done on the cheap.
The experience itself was horrific. It seemed as though the girl that did it had never waxed before in her life. It took forever and the job was BAD. Serious regret. I could have done a better job myself. -

So, I doubt I was their ideal customer. I landed into the salon 45 minutes before closing clutching a Fabfind voucher for a manicure and pedicure. The guy who greeted me made a face when he saw it. I asked if I was too late in the evening and he said no, then found someone to take me. Still not sure if the sneery look was because of the voucher or the time.
The salon is pretty new and they've made a real effort to be trendy. It's all done in pink and black with swathes of pink tulle facing the pedicure seats and 2 big TVs on the wall. They were showing Britain's Next Top Model when I was there...but the volume was off and I didn't see any jack for headphones. I was offered a glass of water which was a pleasant surprise and it came complete with a little chocolate. Spotted a nice coffee machine by the reception desk too so that might be a perk of a haircut! It seemed clean too...although it would look even nicer if they kept the brooms out of sight instead of throwing them in the corner.
The woman doing my pedicure was civil but not exactly friendly. She did a nice enough job but didn't seem particularly happy with feet/her job/life. The girl doing my manicure was lovely though and just smiled sweetly when I pressed the wrong button on the massage chair and started slowly sliding backwards. She also carried my bag and sandals to the dryers and helped me put my sandals back on afterwards so that I didn't smudge. I really liked that!
Hours are good too-open until 8pm most weekdays.
Things I didn't like:
-Apart from the girl doing my manicure, they weren't that friendly. At all.
-Some of the staff were having an animated discussion/complaining session over my feet. I wished for headphones because I felt like I was intruding on some personal stuff.
-I wanted to give a $5 tip but ended up giving $10 because they didn't give me my change
-There was a LOT of money management around me. Big discussions regarding my voucher, how much I'd paid, how much other people had tipped. The girls were passing handfuls of notes back and forth to each other. I just felt awkward and cheap. Couldn't wait for the dryer to finish so that I could escape!
Overall, I got a decent manicure and pedicure-especially considering I had a discount voucher. There were nice elements like the water and chocolate, but overall I didn't find it relaxing and wouldn't rush to go back. The experience didn't exactly inspire me to check out their hair services either!Listed in: Pampering and preening

The giant airbrushed mural along the side wall of the salon with the words "VAJAZZLE ME" should have been a clue into the kind of experience I was going to have at Mosheta. Because, really, nothing says "classy" like getting your panocha adorned with Swarovski crystals.
I had a 1pm appointment for a manicure and pedicure. I arrived fifteen minutes early and went to use the bathroom. Here's a tip: should you decide to get an appointment here (whether it's to get your poon bedazzled or whatever), don't use the washroom. I suppose it was a men's washroom repurposed to be a unisex, because when you walk in there are two very sketchy looking urinals and two toilet stalls. In one stall, the toilet was plugged with TP. In the other, the door didn't close. Not cool. Also, the music in there was crazy loud. I don't need to have Enya playing or a fancy atmosphere, but I don't need a full on aural assault, either.
Anyway, did I mention that I had a 1pm appointment? They didn't seat me in a pedicure chair until 1:30 with no apologies. My manicure didn't start until 2:30. Worse yet, a sloppy job was done on my nails; one was cut far too short (she nearly clipped the skin of my thumb in the process), and I have polish on my cuticles. That said, she was nice enough, but her work left a little bit to be desired.
FWIW, I didn't come in from a Dealfind deal -- although I was accompanying a friend who did (I paid full price). I'm pretty sure I won't be back. -

First let me say "Don't come here", unless you want a sub-par experience.
I made an appointment with a friend and arrived 15 mins early. They wanted to start on one of us first. I said I don't mind waiting for my 3pm appt. so that my friend and I can be seen together. They asked us to leave and come back.
At 3pm we arrived, they were not ready so asked us to be seated (why didn't they ask us in the first place?). While seated a huge pool of water moved through the room. I told the girl at the front - We watched them slowly clean/mop it up. They allowed one of the sinks in the pedi area to fill up and overflow.
FINALLY, 30 mins later, they started on my friend's pedi, I sat there and watched. I wasn't attended to until her hands were done. (yeah, didn't I make the appointment for the two of us together?)
THE MUSIC - hard, heaving music with screaming constantly. My head still hurts. Seriously, it didn't have to be "spa" music, but it was INCREDIBLY distracting.
We later found out that the owner was in Hong Kong and the whole place goes to pot. No pride in the work they do.
I was so annoyed, i decided to forget my nail colour altogether.
Look at the floor when you walk in--filthy.
I tipped even though, it wasn't worth it. -

There was a girl just beside me who wasn't really able to distinguish among Iphones, Androids and Blackberries, like, you know, like, aaaaall these phooone names aaaare veeery complicaaateeed like, you know? This is the kind of customer they expect at Mosheta. They treat you like you are this girl.
I had a very very disappointing experience there. I had probably the worst waxing of my life, and a manicure that only lasted for one day. I'm only giving them two stars because the girl who did the services and the front desk were very friendly. But they seem more cooomftable with peeeaple who taaalk, you know, liiike theeeas.
Meh. Not coming back.Listed in: The Beauty and The Beast

I needed my nails professionally done for an upcoming work event and called ahead to a few places near my apartment. One place did not indicate that they had an autoclave but Mosheta confirmed that they did.
The prices are great - $15 for a basic manicure (with cuticle work and shaping) and $10 more for some simple nail art.
I didn't see the technician take the tools out of the autoclave so I pointed it out. She then kindly obliged and took out a new set and made various reassurances regarding other sanitation precautions they took such as using alcohol on tools and hands during the actual manicure itself.
I'm not the biggest fan of cuticle work that involves clipping, so I said not to do too much. The old polish removal was a bit hurried and I reminded her to make sure to go back later on and remove some of the bits she left behind which she said she would but forgot - not a big deal since they were next to microscopic, but still.
The nail art itself turned out really well and throughout the entire process she made sure to check with me that was she was doing was satisfactory.
Overall I was pleased and struck up a bit of a rapport, so I'm sure she will have no problem remembering and carrying out all the little things I am particular about next time I go.
I'd have no problem returning here next time I want to treat myself to a manicure, especially for the price. I didn't get a chance to check out their pedi facilities so I will reserve judgement for next time. -

Self-destructive promotions are their only policy.
I take back the good things I said about Tony. When he found out, according to him, that the owner had made promos on the website saying "20% off all services in January!" he made a scene. Then when I asked for paying services (ie: sculpture painting on bio gel nails) he start blurting out "you don't need it! save you money!!" Jesus. If you don't want to do the promo, don't do it.

I also went to this place using a fabfind deal. I was supposed to get a manicure and pedicure. I arrived a little bit late and still had to wait for 30 minutes just for them to start on my feet. I went with a friend so at least I had someone to talk to since the lady didn't say anything to me. The pedicure was average. She did slight scrubing the bottoms and the nail colour went on nice but the manicure was not very good. The only thing done was basically, a colour change without the change. There was no cuticle work done. It was done in the same chair as the pedicure which techincally means the lady stood up and did my nails in the air. We didn't even go over to the manicure chairs. Me and my friend were pretty frustrated because it was taking a really long time. At least we got to sit in the massage chairs for a long time to get a good massage in. The owner guy did give us a glass of champagne and a bunch of little chocolates but we couldn't drink the champagne and have the chair on since the table was attached to the chair. There was also a crazy client that came in late and disturbed everyone. The final word on this place is, I probably would not recommend this place.

I have been once and Jordan cut my hair. I have NEVER truly loved a haircut in my life until now. I have never received so many compliments and as it grew out over the past few months it maintained high levels of awesomeness. For the first time I'd like to adopt a hairstylist as my very own, and now I will book my second appointment.
