Mosaique is a small "cafe, galarie, and boutique" located in Dieppe, NB. Four of us arrived about 12:20, and thus had a bit of a wait to be seated at the cafe. Luckily, the galarie makes the wait easy. After picking up a few very reasonably priced art souvenirs (actually made locally in Canada) to bring back to California with me, I joined my group at the sofas in front of the fake fire.

The service was excellent, and the waiter even took off his fantastic two-finger ring for us to look at (quite intricate).

The vegetarian selection in minimal, but excellent. The sandwich and salad section each had one vegetarian option; the others didn't look easily adaptable to vegetarians.

My omnivorous co-diners all raved about their food. I'd categorize the food as "California cuisine:" food that is presented as art, and not in huge portions (although it was not as miniscual as many of the haut restaurants you'll find in the SF Bay Area).

For dessert we had the dark chocolate cheesecake with bananas and the creme brulee. Both were excellent, and the cheesecake was chocolately enough for my Sweetie that she could enjoy it even with the bananas that would not have been her choice.

All in all, a great place to eat. If you're coming for lunch, I'd advise getting there before noon or have time to wait.
