Mortage Alliance Mortgages Are Marvelous! & indeed they are. I have known Mark for quite sometime now through business development events, networking & professional association/s - he has a great skill in following up and will always be there for any queries you may have especially on his expertise - mortgages.
Needless to say - Mark and his team are your best found support when it comes to deciding which financial route to take in embarking a new venture in your life. -

My mortgage was organized by Mark and Katie with absolutely no hassles, both where professional and dedicated.
I will definitely be using them again as I hopefully climb the property ladder.

We Do:

1st Time Home Buyers: We are CMHC and Genworth specialists. That means that you have a better chance to get your deal approved with us than with a bank.
Mortgage Renewals: our rates are normally lower than what your bank will offer you to renew your mortgage. Call us first and we can tell you right away if we can beat your bank. 95% of the time we can.

History
Established in 1997
We started with Phil who was a bank branch manger and then decided to open a mortgage brokerage. He became the Western Canadian Manager for Mortgage Alliance and was also the 2009 President of the Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association - AMBA.
One of the agents under Phil at Mortgage Alliance was Mark Herman who was in the running for Rookie of the Year. Mark partnered with Katie, Phill's daughter, who was working at a bank for 10 years. She had $18 Billion in deals done. The 2 of them became business partners and together are one of the top 10 brokers at Mortgage Alliance - Canada's largest mortgage brokerage.
5 years later, in 2010, Phil decided to come and work with Mark and Katie. They have an office off of Deerfoot and 32 Ave NE and are rockin' it up helping clients with ALL THINGS MORTGAGE because Mortgages Are Marvelous - because you can't buy a house on a credit card.
Meet the Business Owner: Mark H.
Mark placed as 1 of the Top-10 mortgage brokers out of 1,800 at Mortgage Alliance.
He has 10 years of professional customer service experience at companies large and small including 3 years at Hewlett Packard.
He has a Commerce degree with a major in Economics and his Master's in Finance from Herriot-Watt Business School at the University of Edinburgh. He is one of only four mortgage brokers with an MBA originating mortgages in Canada.
Mark's business partner was the Senior Mortgage Escalation Officer at a trust company. She has 14 years of mortgage experience and has underwritten more than $18 Billion in residential mortgages.
Mark is a regular speaker and presenter on economics and mortgage data throughout Canada. He is often quoted in the media because of his knack for translating economics and data analysis into information that can be used by investors and purchasers in their decision making processes.
