Ever been on a yoga swing? I can now say that I have, and it's amazing. If you have trouble with inversions, or just want to try something new, have a go!
The good folks at MTJY have managed to differentiate themselves in more than one aspect. How you ask? They're situated completely in the middle of suburbia. Litterally, there are houses on the same street. No commercial strip, no semis to bypass. In fact, the two other young girls who attended the same class rode their bikes to the studio.
The instructor Ema, was super laidback, patient and very cool. She reminds me of my older sister, in that 'Follow my lead, kiddo,' -way. Not snarking. You've got to try it to understand.
Two good things to know are:
1. If you're expecting a full service yoga 'space' with showers, etc., you'd better head somewhere else, because this is simply a 1 room studio with 1 washroom.
2. Ignore the Google maps' instruction. The studio is closer to 9th line, than Hwy 7.Listed in: Yoga Fire!
