Went in quite a few weeks ago for the first time. Bought (2) steak meals for about $26 a piece and a spinach artichoke dip app. The app was good, the steaks were both cooked incorrectly, and each of them came with (3) HUGE ice cream scoop style piles of mashed potatoes. The potatoes were clearly cooked ahead of time and very cold. Not to mention no one needs more potatoes than steak. I had a $100 gift card and I gave away the remaining $22 to another patron as I had absolutely no intention of ever returning.

I'm not sure if this is a chain but I like it. I ate like a hogbeast and it was all good. Poutine, my first experience and I love it. It's French fries topped with melted cheese curds and brown gravy. Also had forest fire wings and baby back ribs. The wings had more breading than I normally like but they were good. Baby backs were super tender and fell off the bone. To top it off the service was really good. I'm a fan of the Moose.

Went for dinner - it's a big friendly place, the service was good and the food was road-house quality. Don't expect a quiet dinner here - this is one of those places that seems to have a group of waiters singing Happy Birthday every 10 minutes.
They have a play area for the kids in the back, with some tables nearby. If you have kids and can score one of these tables it's a great way to keep them occupied while you're waiting for your meal or enjoying dessert or coffee after.
