My first time experiencing Montfort was at their Brant street location in Burlington. I would head there for a late night bite after being out with friends, many times after consuming several beverages.
I was glad to see a few years ago that they decided to open a location in Westdale near McMaster University. Just like their Brant street location in Burlington, you can find Montfort's a bustling little restaurant after 2 am, filled with bar patrons looking for a good bite to eat.
I've never swayed from the steak on a pita. It's that damn good. The steak is fresh, flavourful and tender. When you order a pita, they bring you a few different sauces and some sort of onion concoction. I just hammer both the onion mix and this unreal garlic sauce combination in the pita. About two minutes later, the pita is gone, the onion and sauce dishes are empty, and I'm one satisfied late-night customer.
