Great Service nice nice people..... I took my TV from Foster City to them in SF. Some how tv started to work after they had it check out. When I called them they told me come by pick up your tv it works fine.... How much do I own you ? they said I dont have to pay tv works fine..... hello but it didnt owner told trust me it is fine I took it home and works just fine............ Thank you guys !!!

NOTE: you must ship your TV. Over the phone, I was advised that they must protect their employees, therefore, expecting assistance from parking lot to their door was out of the question. No at home assessment at all - none. What did I expect? all their equipment was at the store. Gee, what did I expect? Apparently it was a burden that I even inquired.

Moniserv is a life saver! My 37 inch LG flat screen TV suddenly would not turn on after a long cross country move. I was freaking out because the Geek Squad at Best Buy told me that I would have to pay $150 just to have them diagnose the problem. They guessed that the problem was a light bulb burn out which could run from $500-$1500. They recommended that I just dump the flat screen and buy another one. I was bummed and pissed off thinking that I would be out a grand. I randomly thought to check Yelp for a TV repair spot and came across MoniServ and read their flawless reviews. The best part is that the diagnosis is virtually FREE! If they open up your set and the TV is irreparable, there is NO CHARGE.
Long story short, 1 1/2 weeks and $185 later, my flat screen is up and running and the picture looks amazing! Great customer service, zero hassle and this place delivers! Thank the SF Gods for MoniServ! -

This place is good. I saved my Sony bravia because of these guys. I had another dude check my tv in my house and hes said $1000.00 I said no then found Moniserve.. verdict? $40 bucks. I bought the part for 75 bucks. Now I use it in my kitchen where I watch NFL REDZONE!!! Highly recommended.

I had a dead 24" Dell LCD monitor (paid $450 for it new just over 3 years ago) - the CCFL inverter went out. Called Dell, out of fun, and they immediately told me that it can't be fixed and that I need to buy a new one, and would I like to be transfered to sales?
Found this shop online, read the reviews on yelp. Took the LCD to this place yesterday at 4pm, picked it up today at lunch, $105 out the door. Monitor works as new. The guys are very professional, do great work, and the shop looks very clean and well-organized. Highly recommend! -

I think MoniServ is the first place I've found where I take in something to be fixed and it's repaired faster and costs far less than I expected. Really, when was the last time that happened? All of the people who work at MoniServ obviously paid attention when they were taught that customer service matters if you want to be a successful business. Each and every time I've gone in or talked with the kind receptionist on the phone, I'm treated with respect. Even though nobody really likes to have to pay to have their computer repaired, I feel good about giving these people my business and my money. They exceed expectations by working quickly, charging fair prices, and doing excellent quality work. MoniServ is the only place you want if you've got a problem with your computer.

Excellent. My monitor would go blank after a random time of anywhere between 1 minute and 1 day. It had already gone back to the vendor for repair... I almost threw it away. These guys fixed it fast and shipped it back.

I looked around SF for 3 days until I found Moniserv. My Vizio tv completely went out just after the one year warranty. I called MoniServ 3 times before bring in my tv. The first call the repair guy explained to me what I needed to do to fix the tv myself. Not being technologically inclined I called back to ask again about the time of a repair and pricing again. Their pricing was competitive, they were extremely nice/polite and helpful over the phone and in person, and they had my tv fixed in less than a week. Great service and great people!

These guys are great. I'm normally not a Yelp-y kind of guy and generally don't feel compelled to sound off on all things mundane, but I really appreciated the attentive service I experienced here. They're definitely honest and all about customer service. Long story short, they jumped through a lot of hoops to help me fix what ended up being a lost cause (cheap Maxent flat screen), but never once balked or gave me a hard time even though substantial time was invested on their part. They're knowledgeable and very much working with the customers best interest in mind. I'd recommend these guys to anyone - and yeah, they're worth crossing town for (for those of you who don't reside in the outside lands). Thanks Moniserv - I'm no longer a Yelp virgin!

I was having problems with my laptop monitor -- flickering, and sometimes it would not come on at all. I called a few places and Moniserv offered the best price. They were wonderful -- so polite, and the service was quick and efficient. I could not be more pleased.

The only place in town that would sell me a single capacitor. Fixed my TV and am I ready to watch the World Series! They even threw in some soldering wire and wished me luck. I doubled what they were trying to charge me and still only spent $5. Great business. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this Moniserv! It is the best backlight repair shop in the city, hands down. When my Dell D520 laptop monitor died, I tried another computer repair shop first. They kept my laptop for almost 2 weeks, quoted me roughly $400, charged me a diagnostic fee, and still didn't fix the problem. Moniserv fixed my laptop while I waited at a coffee shop next door. They were so well organized that they even emailed me updates while they were working. As if that wasn't fabulous enough, they also gave me a discount. I left with a working computer for less than half of what I was expecting to pay. All this in about an hour - truly excellent service!!!

Brought in my 30" LCD TV to get repaired (backlight inverter went out). Was able to drop it off and pick it up within a 5 day period. They charged me $269 for the work (which isn't bad, considering on eBay the backlight inverter is $200). They were very kind and professional. Their shop is very clean as well.

MoniServe recently repaired the backlight on my laptop in all of 45 min and at a very reasonable rate. I am extremely satisfied with their work - my laptop is as good as ever with a crystal clear screen! Found them through a referral from Peter's PC repair and will definitely use them again in the future should the need arise.

I needed to have the CCFL backlight replaced on my old Thinkpad laptop, and was referred to MoniServ by another repair shop I called. They did a great job with the repair, and I was able to drop the machine off and pick up same day. The cost was less than the other shops I checked, and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout. Plus they provide a warranty on the repair. Would definitely use them again.
