I could see myself giving Mona more stars...in another universe where I have a money tree that gives and gives and gives.
Brand new to the furniture hub of Gastown, Mona offers Italian and German crafted furniture for the dining and living areas. Everything (according to the very knowledgeable and friendly sales associate) is hand stitched using Italian leathers. If you have the money to splurge and the right kind of accommodations (Loft lovers will rejoice) this is the store for you!
The pieces are ultra modern --my favourite to gaze upon was called "the pearl" until I laid eyes on the Fitzgerald chair (check out the Swarovski crystals when you pass by the window). For just a cool $8,000 that chair could be yours!
They carry 3 Euro-designer lines and I have to admit, I thought that there would be more selection --maybe it was the fact that everything (even a lot of the coffee tables) were leather, that threw me.
At the end of the day, I just wouldn't be able to justify choosing leather over my cute little tuxedo kitty cat :-)Listed in: Condo Living in Vancouver, Big Budget Blowers, Import Me
