Men's short haircuts, like fauxhawks, look deceptively simple, and while most barbershops do an ok job, their cut are never as well-tapered and well-finished as I like them. The regular hair salons are also hit-or-miss, and they usually have few if any staffers with appropriate short men's hair training -- especially where no frills are involved, but just excellent scissors skills, and a sense for subtlety.

Mohawk is an inexpensive, no-nonsense hair salon for men, where the owner and his staff know about crisp, understated hairstyles -- even though they're obviously able to go as rad as you want.

I have been in the Barber and beauty world for a number of years. 30 to be exact. I used to have a great opinion of this place until the owner showed me what a very disagreeable man he really is. Much to his dismay and much to his chagrin you DO NOT have to speak french to live and work in Montreal and its not a Rule and hasn't been since 2001.The hair cuts at most are "just okay" and nothing to shout about. If you want an 8 dollar hair cut you definitely  came to the right place. An * dollar hair cut looks exactly like that. When I was their last Xmas for a hair cut, I was expecting something awesome but in turn was very disappointed. I could not relay what I wanted in english in a region of Canada where Eng and French are both spoken. This is what happens when you place a bunch of hairdressers in a barber shop. And I am really not impressed by the muscles behind the hair cut routine, over played and NOT HOT!

Rude to Americans/English speakers. Don't waste your time or money on the Pepe le Peu attitudes.
