This place knows its coffee. They also love the planet and that makes me, in turn, love them.
The coffee cups are compost-able, they have a compost in the cafe. The stir sticks are raw fettuccine to save on shopping down trees and using wood. This place is great for hippies or anyone who's at all interested in the environment and being sustainable while enjoying their cuppa joe. -

The coffee is A-OK. The ambience is artsy, eco-conscious, and small.
But the staff was lukewarm. It's fairly bare-bones, without its own bathroom, and no wi-fi. The staff kept pointing us to the bookstore next door for what should, in this day and age, be standard amenities for a coffee shop. -

A great place to grab a quick bite and coffee in Whistler Village. It was a beautiful day so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sun, snow and scenery (that's a lot of s'!). The breakfast wrap I ordered weighed like 2 lbs and was filled with steaming hot eggs, potatoes, peppers and other yummy things. It was pretty decent for a coffee shop. The americano misto was very good too.
If you don't want to wait around to be served and are in a bit of a rush I would recommend Moguls. Oh yes, and bring cash cause your plastic won't work here. -

Count on Moguls for a solid snack in Whistler village. The small shop is narrow and generally filled with people waiting for food. Once your order is ready beeline for the door and eat on the patio (there are chairs and tables) or walk around the village with food in hand. The offerings aren't fancy, but it's portable and perfect for some sunny window shopping...like I did today!

This place has tanked. Management is noticeably absent.
Sandwiches, wraps and baked products are not of the same quality as they used to be; many taste cardboard-like.
Moguls greatest liability is its staff. Why should a customer have to repeatedly wait for the employee to have a long, non-business related conversation with his/her friends before tending to customers? Some Moguls employees have absolutely no concept of customer service.
Watch your cash carefully! I'll say it again, watch your cash carefully! Twice I've handed the cashier $20.00 and been handed a fraction of the change that I was owed back. I guess the employees add an "involuntary gratuity" or employee-imposed "service fee" to your tab.
I believe Moguls is owned by the same people that own Gone Bakery, next door; the service and food quality (everything except for pastries) is much better at Gone Bakery than at Moguls (the pastries seems to come from the same source as Moguls, and are equally bad). -

When all you want is a decent cup of java, searching through Whistler Village can be a bit of an ordeal (if you're not familiar with the turf.). There's your standard issue chains: Starbucks, Esquires, Blenz, Second Cup ... but what I really was searching out was an organic bean.
Voila - all organic espresso beans at Moguls. I had a latte - best I've had in while- with no hint of espresso bitterness!
Their organic ways don't stop with their beans. To stir in the raw sugar (located in the sugar dispenser - not in little packets!) I used a dry spaghetti noodle stick. The recycling and disposal area was clearly laid out. Saving trees, avoiding chemicals and a good brew made for a happy morning.
(Located inside the older village, across from the Grocery | Liquor Store plaza.) -

The place is non pretentious. Simple bakery / coffee shop. Everything we bought, which admittedly was just baked goods, was awesome! Prices were very reasonable. Bites that it's cash only. Had to pay the dreaded ATM fee.

Came here tonight for hot chocolate and pumpkin pie to end thanksgiving night...
I really adored the maple leaf on the pumpkin pie... too cute...
hot chocolate was perfect....
why -1 stars?
we didn't like the lady who was working tonight... no personality and bad customer service... NOT FRIENDLY... but then again... if you work in a freezing town full of snow... and stand behind a counter all night... I guess that's the outcome of the situation....
This is a really cute coffee shop with a good variety of goodies to choose from... in an open shopping center
they are open to 230am.
stop by here for a late night drink and snack!
Happy Thanksgiving! -

Stopped in here to grab a quick lunch during a day of biking - I had the Black Bean Wrap and my friend had the Carribean Chicken Wrap, we each had a blueberry banana smoothie. I also grabbed a granola bar style baked good from the cash register.
Our wraps were tasty, smoothies ok, but when we ate that bar mid-mountain, I would swear it was baked by monks in some kind of a temple dedicated to granola bars. I would sell my brother for the recipe to those bars, and we actually stopped by and bought two more of them on the way out of town. Perfection.
They are cash only, though. -

I was stuffed from dinner.............. but I still wanted dessert.... and then I thought of going to Lift to see if they had apple pie...... but it was pouring rain outside and Moguls was closer (yay for convenience)!
I crossed my fingers and hope that there was something appley available........and walked in and asked.. they said there was some apple concoction (YES!)... and as she pointed to where it was on the display case... she was shocked herself to see that they didn't have it (BOO!)
So.. I stood there contemplating for about 10 minutes... the giant cookies still looked extremely tasty............. I remembered the last giant cookie I had... but no, didn't want cookie. The chocolate coffee cheesecake looked decadent.. but too rich........ then I spotted the carrot cake! I was told that it wasn't too heavy and the frosting had a hint of lime in it.......... sounds good enough?

I'll drop Moguls a five because it hit the spot 100%. We needed a quick bite for breakfast / brunch and got a super tasty brekkie wrap. I took a bunch of things to go too, and wasn't disappointed. Their beet and walnut cream wrap was an absolute original. Coffee was perfect. Great little patio too, no one hassled us about our 8 week old pooch hanging outside either. (:

Tasty treats (I tried the muffins and cookies) and hearty breakfast options (sandwiches and wraps). Friendly and speedy staff. Better for grab-n-go than dine-in experience. Prices reasonable for the Village. Cash only, but there is an ATM in the store.

By far the best consistent coffee in Whistler. This place is great to go to get a delicious tofu wrap and a descent Chai. The joy I experience when seeing that the baristas actually knew how to properly steam milk (it's not that hard other establishments) was worth the price of admission.

First time in Whistler. We were walking around the village at night getting a lay of the land and getting ready to start an evening's fun. Wanted to get a cup of something warm because it was a little chilly. Walked past two Starbucks that were closed and finally found Moguls to be the only open coffee shop in the village. Coffee's okay, and the pastries are great. I had a Nanaimo bar (never had one of those before) and it was tasty but very rich.
Others have registered some malcontent with the lack of credit/debit and I agree, that's pretty annoying. But even though it's a cash-only establishment, there's an ATM inside so it's was a successfully mitigated issue for me. -

I'm not a coffee gal. I am, however, a huge breakfast fan. I love ordering a breakfast wrap and a fruit smoothie, sharing it all with a friend, and enjoying all that wonderful goodness while sitting outside and watching everyone walk through the village. Their sandwiches, muffins, and goodies are all pretty tasty as well.

Well I don't know when this was last reviewed but they are now using Franke Super Autos and Canterbury Coffee. Coffee was as expected from a Super Auto, pedestrian at best. Had nice baking and food though. Does not accept any form of debit or credit (?)
