    Decently priced.

Delicious food, innovative concept. I wanted to try some of their more adventurous types of waffles offered but I couldn't find the guts. Nevertheless, I had a scrumptous banana caramel waffle with bits of cookie crumbs on the sides.

Well located in the middle of Vancouver. Perfect walking distance from my hostel.

The service was great. I was expecting for me to go pick it up, but instead they brought it to me and also seemed surprised when I bussed my own table. Props to them.

Great experience. I'll be sure to hit this place up again when I return to Vancouver BC

This place is alright; I tried the hoisin and enjoyed how the pork sausage was sprinkled throughout the actual waffle. The sandwich fillings were nice (I have a thing for pickled veg), but as Marc D. points out, the waffle itself gets really soggy. Overall not an ideal vehicle for this type of sandwich, but I thought the flavours were good.

No points were deducted due to the horrible stabbing stomach pains that followed my lunch here - nope, that was my own fault! Waffles are made from milk, and I typically know better than to eat waffles outside a vegan restaurant or the safety of my own home...but the lure was too great.

So if you're curious about this place but suffer from an extreme dairy sensitivity...don't do it! If you have a normal, functioning digestive tract - go for it, but maybe stick with less saucy fillings so your waffle doesn't turn into a soggy mess.

The two of us ordered two waffle sandos, one savoury and one sweet, plus two flavoured milks. I picked Mango Flavoured Milk. It was pretty good; tasted almost like mango bubbletea, but  lighter and less sweet. On the other hand, the Strawberry Flavoured Milk was rather bland.

For the waffle sandwiches, we chose Bulgogi Sando as our savoury option, which is also their signature item. The saltiness in the beef and bulgogi sauce, the spiciness in the kimchi and the creamy egg sauce worked very well together. The waffle was nice and fluffy, and crunchy too.

As for the sweet one, we picked Tiramisu Sando. Wow it was yummy! Each component, cream cheese custard cream, coffee jelly and chocolate sauce, didn't make sense on their own, but if you took a bite of everything together, you can really taste tiramisu!

While it may get expensive eating here, the sandwiches are really good!

This Japanese place has great savory/sweet waffle sandwiches!  They have so many options which make it ideal for lunch/dessert.  I think it cost $9 including tax for a wasabi salmon waffle..and it was delicious :)  I was a bit worried that the wasabi would make the waffle very hot but it was actually very subtle.  The salmon was cooked well and very generous on the fillings.  At first I expected the waffle to be greasy but they are actually very light, and the portion is good enough for lunch! That is the thing I like about Japanese places is that they almost never make anything too sweet or greasy unlike a lot of the Western places.  I also like how they wrap their sandwiches in tin foil wrap.

The restaurant is very small so finding seats might be more difficult, I recommend taking out instead.

Next time I want to try their tiramisu waffles and their cookies and cream waffles which I heard great things about. I just wish that it was opened til a little later so I can get my after dinner dessert here (It closes at 7pm!)

note: The Japanese girl serving me was very giddy.

When Maha E said "I can't believe you've never been here before" I felt guilt. Guilt to my tastebuds who up until this morning, hadn't had the good fortune of a tasting both a savoury and a sweet Miura Waffle. To the waffle gods and all of the yelpers out there who are shaking their heads at me right now, I am truly sorry for my wrong doing.

Without all of your yelpy guidance, how would I possibly know that a wasabi salmon waffle sando would be such a winning combo? I *waffled* between a BLT and the wasabi. So glad I went with the latter with its perfect amount of wasabi, giving it flavour without the spice. And the salmon, baked in, was perfectly moist. How'd you do that? Going with a friend meant getting both a savoury and a sweet, and thank goodness for Maha's decision to order the fruit and cream. It turns out strawberries are currently on the menu. And you cannot go wrong with that.

Didn't go down the milk route, but I did order an Americano, even though I wasn't super stoked about Cafe Umbria being their roast. But the pour was decent, no bitterness at all.

The 10% check in deal on Yelp is enough to go once, for sure, but the smiling faces from the servers and waffle-pressers, that's enough to make me a regular.

If you like waffle sandwiches, then this is the place for you.  I had some extra time while in Vancouver and was trying to find an interesting place to eat between presentations at a conference I was attending.  The staff was friendly and the food came out fast.  Next time I am in Vancouver, I'll walk back up from the bay and visit again.

I love waffles. I often make them myself but I have to admit, they always taste better when someone else makes them for you.   I tried the savory mushroom and cheese and the sweet fruit and cream.
The food was delicious and their menu has inspired me to create my own waffle sandwiches!  Next time I'm in the mood for a satisfying snack, I will make my way back.

    Pros:
    Alternate to Tim Hortons.
    Its a cash only business
    Excellent customer service.
A variety sando's. I would reccommend eating the  fruits and cream and the bulogogi.

    Cons:
Having to pay HST, but its something that cannot be escaped.

YUM, YUM AND YUM!!! If I could do six stars I would!!

I have nothing bad to say, so let me start on the good. The people working there are very nice and open to answering any questions. The place is clean, modern decor, plenty of tables considering the size of the place, and even a patio for outdoor dining. They had on some great kind of minimal techno on, which I love. The menu is perfect, something for everyone, but not too huge where its overwhelming.

Ok the food, my husband and I had the banana caramel, the bulgogi, and the hoisin. All of them were GREAT! Our favorite ended up being the hoisin one, which is funny because it was a little disappointing when it was sat down in front of us. By the menu description, we thought it would be the veggies (like a Bahn Mi Vietnamese sandwich) and some pork, with hoisin sauce. What it actually is, ground pork marinated in hoisin, mixed into waffle batter, and veggies on top. It did not disappoint! YUM-O!

When we venture up to Vancouver, this will definitely be our spot!

Hold up, wait a minute, put a little mozza in it!

That's right, I said it. MOZZA!
Well what else would go better with a garlic chicken waffle sandwich DUH!?!

Ok, for those of you who think at this point that I must be on something, let me just clarify... I'm high on the deliciousness that Miura serves.

I stopped in here with a coworker for a quick bite and my life will never be the same. I guess chicken and waffles just has that effect on some people. The bread of my garlic chicken sandwich was exactly that, two fluffy golden waffles that were cooked up to order. And being the cheese lover that I am, I HAD to ask if they could throw some cheese into the batter before it went on to the waffle press. The result was nothing short of amazing.

The portion was HUGE, the chicken was succulent and tender with just the right amount of garlic and seasonings, the mozza baked into the waffle oozed out as I bit in. I think we arrived at the perfect time too, the café wasn't too busy and we got a seat. However, it is quite a small location, get there early to ensure you can sit down as you shovel nirvana into your mouth.

In closing: ;alerit-q9yu76-[hua;ksdfha9[ (sorry that was the drool being wiped off my keyboard)

I know a place is good when I have food daydreams about them. This is common for the laksa at Banana Leaf, the mussels at Twisted Fork and I definitely have to add the scrumptious waffle sandwiches from Miura to the list! When I think about how delicious the savoury fillings are so well complimented by the delicate sweetness of the warm waffle it makes my mouth water...and sometimes drool a little bit! At first I was unsure of how a waffle sandwich would taste, but it only took one bite to have me convinced. I think the salmon might be my fave.

I have yet to try the sweet waffles but I am sure they are damn good too. Service is always quick and friendly. Only thing to remember is that they don't take credit card so make sure you bring your debit or cash.

Ok, I am totally going to have a one for lunch because the food daydreaming has already started!

There were a lot of good reviews and some very good friends would commute hours on their days off to eat here.  So, unfortunately, I came with my expectations a little too high.

I got the BEC as well.  It was ok.  I felt like the waffles were a little dry.  I would have appreciated some kind of sauce, whether ketchup, wasabi mayo, or maybe a basil pesto.  I don't know if I was suppose to request it myself as an extra aside.  Cutting the bacon into small pieces and mixing it with the waffle batter kills the purpose of bacon for me.  Bacon is supposed to be decadent and luxurious and crisp.  By putting it in the batter and essentially steaming it in their wafflemaker for a few minutes, it loses its crispness, and the delicious fatty flavors get lost in the batter.

The eggs were just regular eggs, I think, they didn't taste like free-range/special omega-3 flax seed ones to me.  The cheese had barely any flavor.  Again, I think my expectations were too high.  I also felt like I could make a better waffle sandwich at home if I had tried.

The coffee was ok, better than Tim Horton's.  I think one of the problems for me was that this was located at Davie and Howe, a particular cross section of downtown where there are some very good breakfast places and cafes on every other block.  So I was looking for something extraordinary, but instead found something relatively ordinary.  Maybe it was just the time of day or the dish I ordered.  Or maybe it is the recent trend of japanese yoshoku comfort food.  I think I might come back during the late spring/summer and try the fresh fruit waffles.  I have a feeling the sweet waffles will be better than their savory ones, at least with respect to my quirky palate.

Prior to going to Miura Waffle Milk Bar, I cannot count how many times I have walked by this restaurant on the lower end of Davie Street. The concept is certainly slightly different as the food consists of waffle sandwiches. I cannot recall ever having had a sandwich on waffles before even at iHop. Therefore, for an innovative concept alone, I have to give them props. But it gets even better as I ordered some coffee (I will try the milkshakes next time I drop by) which was reasonable and the salmon wasabi waffle sandwich. Perhaps it was the atmosphere which made me decide to get creative and test out my palette on something different. The sandwich was incredible and well beyond my expectations. The sandwiches are a little bit pricey with the sandwiches costing between $8-10, but I thought it was well worth it. I will definitely be back in the near future to make sure it was not a one hit wonder.

Oh Miura, my love for waffles has been brought up another level because of you!

A wasabi salmon waffle, to be exact. And for weekend brunch's sake, I added an egg to it. So here it is: a warm fresh waffle, with the perfect crispness on the outside, and soft on the inside. In between, a juicy salmon filet, lettuce, and then a wasabi cilantro ranch sauce that ties everything together.

I can't imagine how awesome the sweet waffles would be. Banana caramel, cookies & cream, tiramisu!!

Oh yes, and a 10% discount for the Yelp check in!!

This was so good I dreamed about it.

If I opened a Miura Waffle Milk Bar in Atlanta but kept hours from 11 p.m. through 5 a.m., I would strike it rich off starving drunk people. Why Miura Waffle Milk Bar doesn't offer its sandwiches to the intoxicated is beyond me.

My BELT hit the spot at 11 on a Tuesday morning.

In fact, Miura should stay open 24/7, catering to all demographics. It would bring the community together.

Wish you could get a hoisin pork sausage, cilantro, pickled radish & carrot sandwich? Yes you do! Wish you could get this in waffle form? Come to Miura waffle milk bar and your wishes will come true.

Ok so not everyone wishes for something like that for lunch. I did not know what to expect but I was sure in for a treat when I first took a bite of the waffle masterpiece, delicious!

Want something more aligned with breakfast? Give the BEC a try. The BEC is like the Super friends of all things breakfast - Bacon Egg, Cheese wrapped in waffle - Super friends unite!

I do however miss having maple syrup with my waffles, I can do without - or perhaps I'll just have to bring my maple syrup flask with me next time.

WAFFLES - i love them! So when a place actually has the word 'waffle' in their title, i must go. FIrst, I kind of have a high standard when it comes to waffles - frozen eggos dont float my boat. So you can trust me when I say these waffles were the stuff of dreams.

The Bulgogi waffle - tried it because it was their 'signature' waffle sandwich and it was so delicious! Great flavor, savory meat and sauce and combined with waffle.. it was fireworks.

The Kabocha - Japanese pumpkin mixed with custard, I think this is seasonal. It was one of their specials - and special it was! It kind of reminded me of apple pie, but BETTER! If you're thinking of trying it, just do it. It will not be a regret moment.

Mango milk - Perfect! Not chunky, not overly sweet, just subtle and subliminal ;)

Waffles. Sandwiches. Need I say more?

    (Ok, I will).

I'm a big waffle fan and I've notice that there's a lack of waffles in the city. Where's the waffle love people?  There are pancakes aplenty, but if you want to find a waffle, they're in short supply.

Enter: Miura Waffle Milk Bar.  Note: I've never gotten to the "Milk Bar" part of this restaurant so I can't vouch for that. What I *can* rave about are the deliciously fluffy and flavourful waffles.

I've been here 3x and had the savoury waffles: BEC (bacon, egg omelette, cheese (mozza) ), Hoisin and Bulgogi. The Bulgogi was my fave of the bunch with tons of meaty goodness and tasty sauce (albeit a bit on the sweet side for me).  It's not very often that you'll see these kind of combinations so I give them A+ for creativity. I also like how some of the waffles had the ingredients baked right into the batter (ie. bacon for the BEC). Less things to drop outta the sandwich -- clever!

The icing on the cake (err..waffle?) was the 10% discount I got for checking in on Yelp!   Thanks Miura!

    *drool*
Waffles are truly delicious! The crispy outer layer, but still kinda soft inside.../me melting like butter...
I had the bulgogi one, and it was tasty, but mostly because of the waffles not so much because of the fillig! That was the first time I had pork on my waffles. Now I can truly claim that there is no such thing that doesn't go well with bacon!
This place was such a pleasant surprise, not just because of the food, but service was great too.
You order your food at the till and when it's done they bring it to you. Once we sat down I was so thirsty, and just when I was about to get up to ask for a glass of water she was already bringing one to me. I didn't expect it, since it's more like a cafe and not a restaurant. Bonus points on that. Thank you ladies!
I will definitely go back for more!

I ended up checking out this place because of Yelp Mobile deals, and figured, what they hey.

I honestly think their waffles are absolutely delicious. Just the waffles, and how fresh they were made. I was a big fan of their whip cream that they used and it just melded so well. I haven't been there in a long time, but I still remember quite distinctively that afternoon when I had it.

I think if you're looking for a great waffle place, this is the first place that you should try out. I haven't tried too many, but out of the three...this is by far my favourite and the one that's most creative.

I found this simple & casual place on the internet.  Miura Waffle Milk Bar had pretty good rating and reviews on several websites, so I've decided to visit.  And I am glad I did.  I would love to visit them again when I am in town next time.  Or they need to make Seattle store.

I tried BEC and Fruits & Cream sandwiches.  The waffles were freshly made.  They were light and crispy outside and soft inside.  The bacon wasn't super greacey and the cream wasn't overly sweet.  Not a super huge portion but big enough for breakfast/brunch/light lunch or even for snacking.  They are on my list of place to re-visit.

Things you didn't think would go together but do: celery and peanut butter. almonds and zucchinis. hoisin pork and waffles. Seriously.

I've been eying this place for a while now, and finally decided to stop by and pick up a waffle to go to satisfy my curiosity. And here I am, literally 15 minutes after I picked up my order to go and ate half of it while walking back to my apartment, writing a 5-star review for the place. It is that good, that I have to tell Yelp right away.

I love that the meat is grilled right into the waffles. One of the most annoying things about burgers is that the meat slide all over the place and in the end you're left with just two buns and stuff, but all the meat disappeared a long time ago. This never ever happens with the waffles. That's already an amazing deal. Second, the seasoning for the meats are delicious. I love the slight sweetness of the waffle and the savoury juiciness of the pork. Fresh off the grill, it had a wonderful crispiness to it that made me feel like I won the food jackpot.

They have weekday specials, so I'll definitely be stopping by soon to try another one. And another one after that. My waffle has since been devoured, but I'm already thinking of my next visit...

    Note: Cash only!

Went there today after handing in my last term paper for the semester, so it was a bit of a celebration for me!

I ordered the bulgogi waffle sandwich with strawberry milk. I was a bit iffy on savory waffle sandwiches as I had always believed that sweet waffles are the way to go, but I didn't have lunch and I wanted something savoury. The bulgogi waffle was surprisingly good. Hot and yummy with kimchi!

The strawberry milk was not really sweet which I had hoped, hence the star docking. However, despite that, I will come back and I intend to try one of the sweet waffles.

We headed to Miura's on the last day of April. Took a bus up easily enough. We were there a little early. One might think a waffle and milk bar would open very early for breakfast. That's perhaps the one drawback.

Miura's has waffle sandwiches. This is a neat idea. They have a selection of both savoury and sweet. Two of us had the BEC waffle and two had sweet ones. We were all very pleased with our selections. And the price is right. I was willing to go back the next morning after my half-marathon.

I highly recommend a stop at Miura's in Vancouver, B.C.

I'm sooo jealous of Vancouver's Waffle trend. Seattle needs a waffle bar!

I stopped in on a Saturday around 2 and it was pretty empty.

Got the Cookies & Cream waffle sandwich. YUM!

One recommendation would be that if you're getting your waffle "for here" to have it be served on a plate. The creame tends to squish out everywhere and can be messy. I always eat with a knife and fork and it's a bit difficult to do with their plastic baskets.

Their restroom is SCARY too. Very dark, kind of dingy...

    I would still go back.

This place made the word waffle become yummi when I hear it, i've tried some of them, my favourites are Veggie for sour, fruits for sweet and the craziest still pretty tasty is the wasabi one, it's a definite must

You can throw fruits and chocolate into your pancakes, but nothing beats a fresh waffle hot off the press. Plus that hot waffle smell in the air, mmm.

I had passed this place before and knew I had to try it out. Greeted by the cute Japanese (?) owners I debated on which sweet waffle to order. I was distracted by their interesting savoury options.

Went with the Tiramisu (Cheese Custard Cream, Coffee Jello, Chocolate Sauce). This sandwich of waffle joy disappeared into my gullet embarrassingly fast, and messy. Yes I licked my fingers.

    Waffle me again.

    MMMMMMHHHHHHH MAMMA MIA!!! Waffles ftw!

I came here with a friend and dayum, them waffles are THE SHIZ YO. I ordered the bulgogi waffle. Sounds kinda weird, but when you eat it... you go boom. It's pretty pricey, in my opinion. $6.5 and the portion is small. C'mon... you could do better than that. Anyway the waffle is just the perfect crispiness, and the bulgogi waffle tastes sweet yet savory at the same time. They include some kimchi in it. There weren't a lot of beef in it, but it's still pretty good.

The place is just like a typical bubble tea cafe. I am bound to go back here to try out their milk!

Had the miso chicken and coleslaw wafflewich.  (they have a 10% off checkin offer too!) Was a little worried that the waffle would be too sweet and overpower the flavor if everything else.  Nope.  The coleslaw wasn't super crunchy or had much mayo.
They have 4-5 dessert style options for waffles to go along with the sandwiches.
For now, I'll reserve judgement on giving 5 stars until I try out one of the sweet options (reasonably priced at under $5 each)

My curiosity got the best of me and I had to try this place out. Somewhere in my mind when I thought of "milk bar" I thought of A Clockwork Orange and thought this place would be a G-rated replica of some sort. Let me tell you, it's not, and it's probably not a good idea to go somewhere with that kind of expectation.

Most of the savory options for waffle sandos included meat, so I opted for the veggie one which came with mushrooms, spinach and cheese. I think it may have been better with eggs as well.... but there was just something about it that was ....well... weird. Maybe it's because the thought of having savory waffles sounds better than it tastes, and I was hoping for something more crepe-like?

They also didn't have a big selection of flavoured milks, maybe five flavours in total, so I thought that was kind of strange. I mean if you are a specialty store, shouldn't you have flavours that are exotic that you can't get anywhere else? I can make strawberry milk at home with Nestle's Quick!

The staff were very sweet, but I can't honestly say I'd be back anytime soon, these waffle-sandos just weren't my thing.

This place was sooo good that we went for breakfast 2 days in a row!  The first time, I got the Ham, Eggs, Cheese (HEC) and the hubs got the Fruit Waffe (strawberry). We also ordered the blueberry yogurt drink for my son.   Everything was delicious!

The next day, I had to try the bulgogi, kimchi waffle with a strawberry milk.

Nothing disappointed!!!  I do think that the HEC was more to my liking because the entire day, I was burping up a kimchi smell.  Not cool.

Service was great!  The lady answered all my questions and was very helpful.

Wish there was a Waffle Bar here in LA!!!
