Shock. Confused. Happy to have an FTR.
There was no review for Mister Alterations !
I couldn't find the appropriate 'category.' This business specializes in alterations, suit making and tailoring.

Our family has been using the services of Mister Alterations for years. The man behind this business, Mr. Nomura, is a professional tailor who has been practising his craft in both in Japan and Canada for many, many years.

He makes great suits, but he also does a fantabulous job at hemming clothes. Mr. Nomura is very efficient and can hem your clothes within hours. I had a work function and had to get my slacks of my suit hemmed. Being the last minute person that I am, I realized the day before that my slacks were too long. Mister Alterations came to the rescue and he was able to make them vertically appropriate by the next morning. They looked (and still look) a w e s o m e ~ !!

Prices here are extremely reasonable. You can get pants/skirts hemmed for under $10.

Conveniently located, this establishment is a couple of blocks south of Eglinton Station. If driving, there are heaps of parking spaces on the side streets. MA is directly above Bamburger.

Just a tip, it's cash only.

    An extreme-o 5 star business right here ~ !

Pre-emptive apologies for the low qual photos. I only had my phone cam with me.

Going to Mister Alterations today felt like being in a Seinfeld episode.
The first time I went there I thought he was perfect. He gave me reasonable prices and did a good job altering my shirts and pants in a few days time. So I was happy, and went back with more clothes for him to alter!

The second time, he was a completely different story. I had tried on pants and a skirt already to show him the length to change them to. Now I trying a wrap scarf that needed shortening, and I asked him what length would be best because I'm petite. He said, "Just tell me what to do." I asked him again for advice because I'm not sure what looks best on me. That's when the tone of our conversation changed.

He said, "You are wasting my time. (unsmiling straight face) You do the same every time, take a long time ask me questions try on different clothes, then you just pay me only a little bit for a few clothing alterations.  I don't like that. Just tell me what to do. I don't have time."

So I responded that I saw on the Internet that he was  good tailor and wanted his professional advice, because the scarf was a special type of scarf. To this he replied, "That is not a special scarf. That is GARBAGE."

So, I told him he had a bad attitude, and that part of being a tailor involved customer service skills. He replied, "I have LOTS of customers... They tell me what to do, not like you." So I told him my regular tailor gave good advice and I took my clothing and I left.  So if you decide to go there, make sure you don't ask him too many questions or else,,,, he'll get mad!  :-O
