I have been shopping here, and not much elsewhere, for years.
Energie is an Italian/German leader in fashion-conscious Mens wear, (and fine ladies fashion, Miss Sixty) for trim, in-shape, not-too-ripped dudes, and definitely not styled for the bigger boys. There are 2 stores, another in PC Mall, and they generally carry 3 distinct body styles. I think the staff hesitate to tell you this as it might break a sale.
(I have made some purchase mistakes here in this regard).
Anyways both stores product are distinct yet also overlap.
Know the looks, know your body. Check some of the merchandise on the website, although the store visit and selection is a superior experience.
Few of the staff, not all, are qualified at styling you objectively. Go and see Linda K at State of Mind for serious styling; of this merchandise she also markets selected pieces.
After years of shopping at other Mens retailers and compromising on fit or fashion, Energie really works for me: mostly casual, trendy, quite good quality, and superior attention to detail for the fit, trendy man. One of the few Mens boutiques I really look forward to visiting.
Shoes, accessories, trousers, tops, outerwear; all style-conscious.
You can find some of their better selected pieces each season at a few other retailers around Vancouver as well. -

This Energie store is among the best. The store is quite small compared to the ones Ive visited in Calgary and Montreal, but the service here was superior.
The style of clothing at Energie are not outrageous or bizzare in my mind, they are very clean and modern European clothing
As some of the reviewers posted before, the prices are high. But Energie is a brand that competes with Diesel in quality and market, so if the high prices are a discouraging, visit another store instead. -

I've no idea what took me so long to enter this store, as I was always intrigued by the vivid and interesting store displays, but I am happy I finally did!
From what I know of the fabulous Miss. Sixty jeans and their hefty price tag, I wasn't too surprised to see that most items in Miss.Sixty are pricey. That being said, most of the items are totally worthy of the price tag! I had forgotten how original in design and incredibly interesting Miss.Sixty apparel was, being that the last time I had been in an actual Miss.Sixty store was in the UK many moons ago. The clothing here is meant for the man or woman who wants to stand out and make a statement, both with their clothing and their personality. These intricate designs, shiny fabrics, bold accessories and, of course, fab jeans, are not for the weak of heart and I love it! It is very reminiscent of the verve and vitality of European apparel and attitude.
Another reason to adore this shop? The staff! Not one, not two, not three, but four separate staff members made a considerable effort (without being irritating) to assist me in finding what I wanted or just offering up suggestions. Sales people are not hard to come by, but great sales people are and Miss.Sixty on Robson has snatched up a good few of them. I suspect if I worked here, amongst these exciting clothes, that I too would be enjoying my work and wanting to spread the word to the customers! -

Come on, prices and appearances need to reconcile. This is how fashion works. The clothing prices at Energie are high, as per Robson rule. The style, not great.
Not bad mind you, but more befitting a lower end fashion outlet. I realize a name brand makes it okay to wear ugly clothes. But not in my world, never in my world. There is at least quality in the clothing and shoes, i believe they could last a long time, but, why would you want them too? -

I've been to a few Miss Sixty/Energie stores, but this one is definitely the best one customer service wise to shop at. The staff (which always happens to be all female whenever I show up) is super helpful and is never afraid to tell you something just doesn't look right on you. Fashion wise, either you like Energie or you don't, and I happen to like the brand a lot. Their cuts are way above par, their jeans last ridiculously long, and their quality is impeccable when compared to other designer denim brands. Oh, and this store always seems to have sales whenever I walk in. If you like higher end denim, then check Miss Sixty/Energie. And if you're a dude and you don't know what you're looking for, just walk in and some of the beautiful sales associates will help you out.
Listed in: I gotta stop shopping, Vancouver lovin!
