Decided to check this place out based on reviews on here. After moving from the east end of Toronto to the west end I found myself completely lost on places to eat with good ethnic food. Mint Indian Bistro is a very nice restraurant, the exterior and interior are clean and classy although the full bar threw me a little bit as being a bit out of place. We asked for suggestions from our waitress and after ordering our food arrived promptly. Very well presented on nice clean dishes. The food was excellent, very tasty and had the right amount of spice to it. The only "complaint" I would say is the portions may be on the smaller side and each dish should come with a Naan or something, we had to order 1 extra to finish off the dishes.
Overall a top quality place to eat in Brampton, much better than going to any of the chain restaurants down the road. -

Food was great but showed up at 12:00 on Sunday with a reservation and nobody was there till 12:20. I had a date so it was a bit embarrassing. They did make up for it with good service once things got going but it was a poor first impression.

AMAZING! This restaurant just opened a few weeks ago... It has a nice updated interior, delicious food and the nicest owners I have ever encountered.
I happened upon this place with 2 friends on a drive up to the Blue Mountains. The waitress/owner was so helpful and generous, she even printed us directions to our destination. You can't beat that!
The Butter Chicken was the most delicious Indian entree I ever recall having... the chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was the kind you don't want to stop eating. We had two other knockout chicken dishes as well and I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. -

Food and service were great! This is a fantastic Indian restaurant in Brampton's scene - nice atmosphere and friendly servers.
We ordered the paneer in cream sauce, channa, and mixed-veg curry. Channa and paneer were delish, naan and rice were great. ONE COMPLAINT - the "mixed vegetables" in the curry appeared to be straight from a green giant frozen vegetables package. Literally. I'm 90% certain it was exactly that. It was corn kernals, green peas and diced carrot. Hardly an inspired dish, and really a standout disappointment in an otherwise good meal. -

yes - we live in Brampton, the MECCA of Indian food. so what makes the Mint stand out?
Well - its different and in a very good way! I can't quite put my finger on it - the flavors were all there, the authenticity was there as well. But I wasn't left to deal with my usual "curry coma" once i was done my meal here. So yes, its a great thing!
We just took a couple of items to go - paneer kathi roll and malai kofta w/ naan. both were divine, and although they were meant to be eaten half as a late night snack, and put away for the morning, once we realized what we had, we couldn't stop ourselves !
Next time I plan on sitting down and enjoying the ambience as well - I know this place is new but here's hoping people soon find out what a hidden gem it is! -

Have absolutely had better indian food in Brampton. I had a half portion of butter chicken with rice and naan and my complaint is absolutely the quality of the meat. I was picking cartilidge out of pieces of mashed up chicken chunks. I think a prior review mentions that they were suspicious of the veggies coming out of a green giant freezer bag and it wouldn't surprise me based on my experience. Quality ingredients make quality food and this joint comes up lacking. A business who shal remain nameless at Torbram and Peter Robertson has this place beat by a long shot!
