I had often herd horror stories pertaining to people's experiences with their local MTO office. Long line ups, difficult staff, and such. I'm happy to say that my recent experiences with the MTO office on College st. was most pleasant.
Even with a long line up of people (really depends at what time you go) I found the staff to be quick and efficient, reducing the wait time to speak to an agent considerably. The particular agent I dealt with was quite helpful sorting through some difficult paperwork regarding a vehicle ownership. He saved me considerable time and red tape as I was able to get all my paperwork done successfully the same day. In fact he actually took the time to figure out what options would save me the most money.
Overall I give this MTO office a big thumbs up and if you live or work in central Toronto and need to go to an MTO office I would recommend this one without hesitation.
