What's better on a sunny afternoon than to hit the links. If that's not an option, Mini Golf Gardens must surely be the next best thing!
Between the red and the blue course, Mini Golf Gardens has two full 18 holes mini putt courses. The blue has bumpers and is better for beginners or a warm up whereas the red is much more challenging and doesn't have any bumpers to help direct your ball or prevent it from going into the grass, water or sand. That's right, there are water hazards on this course so get your snorkeling gear!
I'm not sure if they always have the 2 for 1 deal, but the day we went if you paid for the firsy 18, the 2nd 18 was free.
I had a blast playing here. Oh and did I mention I got 3, that's right, three holes-in-one?!!? Yeah, that's right.
Wicked place. Would definitely be back when I'm in the area. -

This place ROCKED the mini-putt! Two courses of 18 holes each. One for beginners and the other a little more challenging. The grounds wee landscaped beautifully and the course was maintained well.
Add that on to the deal we got of buy one round, get the second round FREE. We had an awesome afternoon. Easy course, freezie break, hard course.
Get putting! -

As a kid NOTHING was more exciting than going golfing (either regular iron, driver or miniature) so when I learned that there was a full 18 hole "oasis" in the city's south end I had to check it out.
There are actually two courses split by skill level. The "blue" course is for less experienced people and the "red" course is much more challenging. The red course actually doesn't have bumpers so your ball can end up in sand, water or regular grass much easier.
I went with three other friends in early summer and the only complaint was not the mass of children, slow players (mostly us!) or lighting (it was excellent) but rather the bugs!
There's not much management can do to control this problem but do be advised that they were really, really bad when we were there as the course is near a large open field and there is lots of stagnant water in the area too.
This place is a lot of fun and there are plenty of family restaurants in the area that you can hit up before or after your intense round of golf.
I don't think I won and I do think we lost a few balls and maybe even a putter (we were a rowdy crowd!).
