The Ming Wo store that I come to the most because I live in the area. Not a bad selection of stuff considering its size. It is a smaller and narrow store.
I've picked up quite a few things here over the years.
Saucepan, ss sushi chopsticks, dishrack and drainboard, pastry brush, etc.
There is usually a sale on or something. -

Picked up my second Le Creuset pot there during their sale.
Love the 'carribean' color, so I had to get it. With 30% off, I couldn't resist the offer, its a quaint little store. Loved that I could get in and get out with what I wanted and the sales associate was not overly pushy. YAY! -

This place is full of amazing things, most of which I can't afford. They seemed to have a lot of sales on, but 25% off a $350 Le Creuset is still too much for me.
Fortunately, there are a lot of little fun things too, so those of us on a budget can find something fun to add to our kitchenware collections. -

It's funny that for the amount of devoted Ming Wo followers in Vancouver, very few know about it's warehouse outlet that's hiding in plain sight on Broadway. It has all the runoff of the big name brands that don't sell in the regular, high-priced stores so it's always a delight to peruse their racks and try to find something great. I got a set of stemless wine glasses for less than half of what they were going for at the regular Ming Wo!
Now, it should be noted that it's still Ming Wo so unless you are over 40, French and wearing a chef's uniform you probably won't get any reasonable service. It's alright though because half the time the people working there don't know what you want anyway so no huge loss. So, don't worry, go alone, bring some water and bargain hunt! -

I love cookware stores. All sorts of fun gadgets at Ming Wo. Since it's a warehouse store, it's already cheaper than the regular Ming Wo. And they were having a warehouse sale so it's a bonus. If I had more than a student budget, I'd definitely be blowing my paycheck here.
