Millwoods Park is actually a pretty nice place to spend an afternoon.  A warm afternoon, that is.

There is lots of room to play football, frisbee, whatever you like!  And there is the little water park and skate park for the younger crowds too.

It's a really nice place.  If you're looking for something secluded though, this is not the place for you.  There are usually a lot of families here so the place is crawling with little ones.

There are some hills and open fields that can be nice for a walk on a summer day.

    It's a nice park.  I like it!

Millwoods Park is a pretty decent park. It is huge and offers many different things to do. During the summer it usually hosts many events and is a good place to go for the Canada Day fireworks.

What I like most about Millwoods park is the hills. As a kid I used to come here all the time during the winter to go sledding and GT'ing. When I look at the hills now they look rather small but back then they were like mountains. I almost never come here anymore but the park has provided me with tons of memories from when I was younger.

There's nothing like coming here during the Christmas season for some sledding and then grabbing hot chocolate after.

I've had some really fun summer days at Millwoods Park. It's much bigger than the rest of the parks in the area, so there's a lot more to do. There's a soccer pitch, football field, baseball diamond, pond, a nearby skate park and even a cricket field (I love playing cricket!). Some times I just stop by here after a jog and watch all the different sports that are going on.

It does get crowded very often. Lots of schools use the facilities for sports practices and such. The skate park attracts lots of rough kids as well.

Easily the best park in South Edmonton, especially during the summer time.
