When Beau and I decided to elope, we wanted amazing announcements to let friends and family know we gotten married. The announcements were so important to me I started looking for them before I looked for a dress. I love all kinds of paper, note cards, invites, etc. and I knew I wanted letterpress. There is no printing like letterpress printing!
I stumbled upon Milkfed and immediately fell in love with Victoria's work. She does all sorts of really cool stuff - invites, announcements, business pieces - even bookbinding! I didn't see any elopement announcements in her portfolio so I contacted her to see if this is something she would do. Beau and I are in our early 40's and wanted something simple and elegant. She emailed me right away and said she would love to work on the project and felt certain she could design something that met our needs.
In short, our announcements are perfect. They are my favorite part of our entire elopement (other than my husband!) We mailed them the day after we wed and within a couple of days people started calling and emailing me to tell me how much the love the announcement!
It was such a pleasure to work with Victoria and I could tell she truly loves what she does. I look forward to having her create other amazing pieces for me in the future!
