My favourite out of the big 3! I like to come here once and a while and usually always go to this location.

The food is good and always consistent. service can be hit and miss depending on how busy they are. Sometimes it is difficult to get service when everyone is rushing around. They always have some good deals going on. Every Wednesday is date night which is a good deal.

I highly recommend going for their brunch, as it is very delicious! Breakfast wrap all the way!!

I can't recall the last time I ate at the Robson St location but I remember it being decent. I would just like to say however that the Yaletown location has been a absolute disappointment every time I have had a business meeting there.

Note: I would never choose Milestones as my place to go as I think there food is sub par. Just saying....

PS: the only time that I wasn't disappointed was when I had a  meeting over a tea and a breakfast burrito.

I love Milestones and every time we come to Vancouver I only want to eat here.  Their menu is condensed but full of yummy choices.

Today I had my usual, a breakfast wrap with egg whites and an Earl Grey tea, as usual super delicious.  The ingredients in the wrap are excellent and I love how they bring rosemary potatoes and a side of fruit with the dish.  I always eat the whole thing!

My cousin special ordered a salmon with vegetables and since she has a bunch of allergies our waitress Eva D was so kind enough to take down all her allergy info and take it to the chef and make sure our food was properly perfect for us!  Then the manager Chris Meeds came over and was very nice enough to let us know that our food was to our liking as we needed it to be, and I honestly think that was terrific to have the manager come over and reassure us that the food was prepared as we liked.  I will definitely come back again and again to this Milestones, I loved the service!

I went for my friend's birthday over the weekend, and I was quite disappointed with the service, in fact we all were.

I've always remembered Milestones for their dry ribs appetizer, but apparently they stopped serving that. This is where I would have given them 2/5 stars, but the [American] burger I had was better than Vera's Burger Shack.

Tasty. In one word thats how I would describe my lunch combo. I had the green salad, the mushroom soup and half grilled portobello ciabatta. I enjoyed them all.

I've also previously been here, and enjoyed my food each time. As well as the bellinis (well, DUH!).

Trendy, modern inside. Smells delish. Also I shamefully didn't get to go back and try the coconut pear pancakes, which I still feel a little bummed about as I'm back in the States now, and don't have an opportunity to indulge.

My only complaint was the awkward waitress we had this last time.. Not attentive, we saw her once... the rest was all other random staff or kitchen staff helping us or bringing us our food. However, whenever she resurfaced from where she had been hiding, and brought out the little portable machine to run your card, she awkwardly stood there gawking at my boyfriend while he was putting in the tip and using the machine. Awkward lady, come back in a minute. I've been in multiple other restaurants up here where those are used and none of the other server stood there silently watching and waiting. Just makes a person feel a bit uncomfortable.

A 5 for the prime rib hash which is another item that would make my "First 10 meals I would have after spending a year in prison" list.

A 1 for the lame service. This is my second bad encounter with Milestone's in the past couple months - perhaps they have a picture of me in their database saying not to give me service. At least this time it wasn't as awful as the first time where we we walked out.

    Things I would have expected:

    - The ketchup I asked for would have shown up at some point during the meal.
    - My empty cup of coffee refilled or being offered another.
    - Water.
    - Coming by to check in on my meal and bringing my bill promptly when I ask, not 10 mins later.

Were it not for the awesome Prime Rib Hash, I would never go to Milestone's again.

    No, no, and no.

Milestone's is where I get taken when I suggest that I want something "white", as the boy would be happy eating Asian for his every remaining meal. I, on the other hand, need some variety.

Milestone's is one of those chain restaurants that doesn't fit into any of the "good food" categories. It's not "greasy, gross, can only eat there once in a long while, but love it every time I do"... It's not "upscale, great steaks"... It's not "original concept, come here for the interesting decor and/or original food options". It's not even "if all else fails, order chicken fingers, get the hell out, and don't come back unless forced to".  What it IS is bland, boring, trying hard to be trendy, overpriced, everything that is bad about the world of corporate food.

Two stars because I liked that they put roasted garlic in my Caesar salad. Garlic automatically gets you a star. And service, as with most corporate restaurants was, although Stepford-ish, polite and efficient.

This was probably our favorite meal on the trip.
    The location was OK.
Not much to look at from the front.
    Dining room was upstairs.
Dark and that was too bad for a beautiful (rare?) sunny day in Vancouver.  We tried to sit as near the windows as possible.
I had soup, sandwich, salad trio.  All 3 were pretty tasty.  The fried onion strings were good (MUCH too small portions!)
    The burgers got "thumbs up".
    The portabello sandwich was good.
The beef dip sandwiches & fries got good reviews.
The diet coke refills were fast and plentiful
    We really like our server.
    Would go back.

This is a good generic place to eat tasty generic food and drink alcoholic beverages from enormous glasses. Just like an Earls or Cactus Club.

I don't mind this. In fact, if you're buying, I ADORE this.

This location has a cool little dimly lit bar on the first level where you can wait for your table and get a drink. We did this on boxing day last year and they gave us a little buzzer machine to let us know when our table was ready so we could sip our belinis and irish coffees while waiting to have our post-christmas-hangover brunch. Ah, the holidays.

I'm not particularly huge on Milestones myself- as a child I had a horrible experience there once, but when I have to eat at this brand chain, I go to this location.

The staff are flexible to your needs, kind and accommodating.

The serving sizes are proportional to their prices, and the food itself is above par.

Presentation is clean and so are the washrooms.

Despite the centralism of its location, and its overly popular restaurant chain name that scream seating slim pickings, I have never had to wait to be seated- their space is utilized to its full potential, and seating is comfortable, though the ambiance is quite dark.

Recommended Appie to share: Spinach and Asiago Dip.

Recommended Main Deal: Cajun Shrimp Diane- although I like to ask for a side of mashed potatoes rather than jasmine rice.

    Score: you're winning me back.

I think I might be the only person not crazy about this place.  I can't put my finger on exactly what it is.  Perhaps it's that every time I come I'm near an obnoxiously loud table (or by someone with a high-pitch squealing laugh)- certainly this is not the restaurant's fault, but it doesn't make me enjoy my time.

The food is fine, but it's never wonderful.  So when the bill comes, I wonder if I should have saved $30 and just gone to Subway...  I've had the grilled chicken salad a few times- it always sounds great, but the bland chicken leaves me wanting more.

Several of my friends love it, but this place is not for everyone.

This place was one of the surprising hits of my recent trip to Vancouver. We went for brunch. Several people at the table had their Bellini's - which were marvelous. As far as food... some had traditional breakfast - it was presented wonderfully. I had their dip. The dip was AMAZING. not only did they spice it up with gorgonzola butter and sauteed onions, but the meat was tender and flavorful. I haven't had a better dip anywhere that I've gone.

The service was excellent... to the point that we notice a crack in a glass and before we know it, the manager of the restaurant is standing at the table taking the glass away to exchange it out. How did he notice that so quickly?

All around, a good place to go especially for brunch.

Great views, nice and dark ambience.
They are known for their spinach dip which is the bomb! in a good way.
I am a big fan of their thai chicken wrap, it is to die for!! Asian slaw too if you can get it. Love their chicken thai drumettes. Love lot of things on their diverse menu.
Prices are ok, 10-15 per person on average not counting appies and drinks.
Bellinis are awesome. Yep I love Milestones.

As far as chain restaurants go, I was quite pleased with the Robson Milestones.  From the street it doesn't look like much, and it's even a little iffy once you step inside, but once you're settled in, it's a really pleasant place.

The bar on the main level is a little narrow, but is attractively appointed and features big screens for sports without feeling like it's trying to be a sports bar.  Upstairs is a little more what I'd call "northwest chic," featuring clean, modern architecture and fixtures but with a somewhat rustic feel.

We dropped in after an afternoon of battling Robson Square Olympics madness, looking for a late lunch and refuge from the masses, and we found both.  We weren't the only patrons who'd hoped they were far enough away from the crowds, and wait times varied from 15-90 minutes (we were on the 15 minute side).

We started with the goat cheese and roasted garlic flatbread, which comes with a selection of toppings, including roasted corn and a mavelous spicy cranberry relish.  I had the smoked turkey ciabatta sandwich; my wife had the thai noodle salad and added chicken, and we shared the caramel apple crisp to finish.  Everything was fresh and delicious, and the portions were very ample - I think commensurate with the prices.

Service was a little slow, but hardly substandard given the crowds.  Our waitress was very friendly and didn't seem to mind that we were taking our sweet time to order, eat, and pay, mostly just resting up for another round of navigating the craziness.

When the bill came, I was very pleased to see that they didn't automatically add a gratuity, as other downtown restaurants had taken to for the Olypmics.  Instead, there was a simple note in several languages explaining that tipping in Vancouver is customarily 10-15%, at the patron's discretion based on the quality of service.  This is a much more respectful way to address international tipping practices for visitors, and lets the customer acknowledge the quality of their experience accordingly.  For what it's worth, we tipped 20%.

It will never be a regular restaurant for us when we're in town, but I'll certainly never complain at the prospect of a return visit.

I always find that Milestone's offers a great value for what you get. And they are consistent in the quality of the food! The past couple of time I have gone I have received a free appetizer for my next visit, which is a great motivation for me to return!

Recently I have enjoyed the strawberry french toast for brunch (it is sweet) and the Californian burger for dinner. My boyfriend got a beef sirloin dish with king prawns in lobster sauce and it was delicious! Oh and I can't forget they have the best Bellini's in town!

I don't think Milestone's takes reservations but if you plan to go on a busy night, phone 20 minutes or so before you plan to arrive and put your name on the wait list. Beats waiting in a lineup!

This Milestones is on two levels - a downstairs bar and an upstairs dining area. The downstairs bar is a great place to hang out, be seen, and possibly finish a slushy margarita and/or Bellini that is almost as big as your head. Seriously, I had a hard time walking after one of those.

Recently, I came here for dinner, and the food really was good. I've always banned myself from ordering pasta in restaurants since I cook it plenty at home, but Milestones' tortellini with meatballs and tomato sauce and pesto was amazing. It was tart, it was savoury, it was spicy, and it was well-presented to boot, with big shavings of Parm cheese. I had some wine with it, and the glass again was enormous. Wobbled out of there. Watch the steps after you've been at Milestones, y'all!

PRIME RIB HASH w/ POACHED EGGS. Nom nom nom nom.

Really hit the spot. The has was VERY well seasoned and with just a dash of ketchup, it was perfect. The prime rib was nummy and added a lot to the hash. Novel and great execution.

Stay away from the calamari as it's like "french fry" style and weird. Also they forgot it (but comped us for it).

I would have given this place a 4 star, but I remembered how the waiter was. He was rude without a personality. He was only friendly as soon as he saw the tip we gave him, would have given him more, but with an attitude like that, no way. Food was good, I had the pasta and my husband had the lamb. The lamb was over cooked, but it was still good. Will go back there but probably to another location to avoid the horrific waiter.

Great location, great food, great service, great experience!
The food was so flavorful. The ambience on the 2nd level where we went was great and made the wine taste even better. We were tired after shopping on Robson, but the experience at the restaurant made us refreshed.

The place is a tad bit pricey, but thats coz its Vancouver and its right in middle of Robson street - one of the most happening street in Vancouver DT. Really happy with the place.

Bottomline: I will go back there again!

I was a fan of Milestones until I got food poisoning from the location a couple of years back.  There is nothing like 8 hours of praising to the porcelain god, breaking out in hives, cold sweats and weeks of gagging everytime I saw something that remotely resembled the same dish.  I probably would have gone back EXCEPT that when I called them to let them know they pretty much didn't want to hear it.  I got a "ok, will tell the cooks, bye!"  Needless to say I have NEVER been back, I miss their Bellini's but am happy enough to go to the Cactus Club to get them instead.  If they had of listened and treated me better I would have returned.

Consistency chain wide is good with Milestones.  That being said if you are one of those "anti-chain" people, then stay away and you won't have to write a bad review about this or any other chain restaurant.  For the rest of you, do feel free to go to this location, it has a wide menu, reasonable prices and its an all around good time.

its funny that i dont go to milestones in YEARS and then i find myself here TWICE in a weeks time (although diff. locations)

not entirely impressed with the service.  very forgettable.
normally, i have always enjoyed their brunch... flavours are great, the portions extremely good..and the dishes never disappointed- until this time.

i had their classic eggs benny... and when it came out, i just looked at it and almost wanted to send it back because i was sure they sent me the wrong thing!  the eggs benny looked sad and small on the 2 english muffins they slapped em on..the potatoes were ok, and the fresh fruit...well, there were 2 pathetic pieces, half a cantaloupe and strawberry.  (i remember when they had a whole third of the plate filled with fresh fruit!!)

i was here because someone else had chosen this venue, but personally, i wouldn`t choose to come here on my own.

I've eaten here a few times, mostly when I'm just looking to have "boring" food and don't want to deal with anything exotic or out of the ordinary. As such, it never really given me a strong impression either way when I had lunch and dinner there, a few times each. Then I stopped by once, while recovering from a rough night, for a late breakfast/brunch. The Prime Rib Hash here is amazing. Along with a constantly refilled cup of java (thanks to the attentive waitresses!), it was the perfect hangover cure. Each bite is the perfect proportion of ingredients, from the taters to the beef, to the onions, etc... It's also the perfect portion so that you leave full without feeling bloated, yet enough that you are satisfied and not craving anything else. Since then, I've only been back here a couple times, only for breakfast, and of course I order the same dish each time.

WORST restaurant experience EVER! I went here with my husband and mother in law (who had recently had surgery, and was not feeling the mobile or energetic). We had come in with high expectations because we always eat at Milestones in Victoria and love it. What a major mistake. First off, they have a very awkward entrance, and you have no idea if you need to go upstairs of behind the stairs to find the hostess table. Once we were seated, we waited a very long time for our waitress. We ordered, and got our food not too long afterwards. About 6 or 7 bites into our food we noticed that it was abnormally warm, and we asked for water. We waited, and waited. I wound up being so uncomfortable from the heat and the salty food that I was loosing my appetite waiting for water that I would have to ask for 3 more times. We were in a rush because we wanted to get back to Seattle in a couple hours and beat the Olympic's traffic. My mother in law had to remind the server that she ordered a salad that was supposed to come before her entree but never did, then she got a second one. She was also bothered by the heat and had to leave in her post-surgery state. I got so hot that I had trouble breathing and had to leave as well - which left my husband there who patiently waited 30 mins to get his bill and takeout back to him. It was pretty obvious that they were trying to make people overly warm so that it would cycle them out quickly. ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE.
