Wow! Hit this joint up in my recent visit to Ottawa and found a new pizza gem in Canada.
After our own version of beerfest including our own 2 liter boots of beer and more we found ourselves wandering the streets of Ottawa quite inebriated with a night that was teetering on being a complete black-out. When my friend piped up about going to this Milano's place I was tired of walking and though "this better be worth it." IT WAS!
The service at this place was so friendly, even to drunken dummy that came in with an arsenal of stupid comments. Not that I quite remember what happened or what was said... :S
Aside from that the cost of the pizza was soooo cheap: 2 huge slices for like $7. And it was so worth it. The one thing I remember most about this place was the crust OMFG the crust was fantastic. The place was also nice and clean and easily accessible having a giant open wall at the storefront.
Next time I'm in Ottawa I will definitely have a trip to Milano's in my itinerary and so should you! -

I have ordered from Milanos too many time to count and have always had great za! The best deal is the walk in special, and their garlic dip is excellent. I have had pizza from multiple locations and never been disappointed.

I got a super saver coupon book in the mail the other day and inside the front cover there was an ad for Milano Pizzeria. Since my wife and I are still on the hunt for Ottawa's best pizza deal, I thought I'd stop by Milano and give it a try. It is a small chain here in town, but not as huge as Pizza Pizza. Unlike many places, it actually has a really nice eat-in section. As for food, it has regular pizza and a few "gourmet" kinds (greek, steak with pesto sauce and a spicy chicken). Like many pizza places, it also sells other food options, like shawarmas, subs, pasta. The prices are pretty decent - a large for around $15. And they also have one of those order a large and they throw in a bunch of other crap deals. The pizza is pretty decent, but in the same ballpark as most places in town.
