Review from Todd V.

This place caused a stir in Gananoque when it opened some years ago. Before they came to being, there were two long-established places in Gan to get a pizza. One of the places closed down at 11:00pm, so if you were looking for a quick bite after work or a night in one of the Gananoque bars, your choices were limited. Enter Milano's.
The place still stands today despite a break-up in partnership and even a mysterious bombing incident, and it still serves out some of the best food in Gananoque. It's reasonable. It's simple. It'll come to your door. Pizzas and subs they sell with aplomb, but the two menu items that stand out are the bacon-double cheeseburger (real bacon, real hamburgers made there) and the poutine. Know this that the poutine is not authentic in that it is made with shredded mozzarella and not cheese curd. I know. That's not how you make real poutine, but suck it up. There is so much cheese and gravy that have melted, combined and penetrated the fries, you'll be able to stick a fork in it and hold it like an umbrella. Eat it like slices of Tortierre pie. You'll like.
