Fabulous Gormet Dishes, Soups, Sandwiches for lunch and Supper
I had a soup and salad there it was all fresh ingredients.
the waitress/waiter and owner were very friendly.
They have an oxygen bar that you can sit at for a few minutes, it's cheap under $1 per minute to try it out.
Fresh Oxygen refreshes the brain.
This place is pretty classy but you can still sit there in casual clothing. Many city and Lawyers eat there, as well as tourists checking out downtown Queen St.
It's close to Art Galleries, Antiques, Curio Shops, Souvenir Shops and only ten minutes away from Casino Niagara, and it's along the Niagara Parkway just West of Clifton Hill (Ten minute drive - 25 minute walk up Victoria Avenue)
they have a late night Salsa Dancing, a Yoga Studio for during the day, and many cultural events -

This restaurant and yoga studio is a welcome breath of fresh air compared to the Niagara Falls casino strip o neon. Healthy, vegetarian friendly food! Aspartame-free everything! Awesome desserts! Don't miss their hummus or mochachino :)
The restaurant side of Mide is relaxing and intimate, with small tables and a long bar to eat at. The yoga studio side of the restaurant can also be rented out for events! Staff are welcoming and helpful. -

We were looking for something that was higher qualify and lower price that was away from the touristy stuff and this place is all of that. I had the pork schnitzel and my wife had the beef bourguignon. Both were excellent. They have a good choice of wines. It's a small place and the interior is decorated very nicely. At the front, they have a garage door that opens so it becomes and open air cafe to main street - Nice! The service was good and pleasant and the bill wasn't hard to swallow. Plus they accept American Express.

We had good lunch at Midé recently. There was live music on the patio during our meal and the staff were attentive. We had the spicy lentil soup with sandwiches (Joseph's Roasted Chicken and Roast Beef). The portion sizes were quite good and the sandwiches were very fresh, featuring tasty in-house mayo.
We've yet to have dinner at Midé but it looked like they featured a selection of local beer and wines. They had beer from the nearby Taps brewery (down the street) on tap.
