Review from Kitty K.
Went here because my little daughter is a fan of Man v. Food. Other restaurants that Adam Richman has featured have been wonderful, but Mick & Angelo's was only okay. The restaurant is on a skeevy strip of road, near a lot of adult toy shops and sleazy motels. Service was friendly, but the food was nothing extraordinary.
I ordered a chicken parm sandwich and a salad. The salad was fresh and packed with veggies. The chicken parm was pretty good. Had a Rickard's Red beer, a great brew that is not sold in the U.S.
The food was pricey for the quality.
The thing that made me want to head for the door was the constant '70s disco music that was playing in the background. It was loud and pervasive and really, really awful. There are other choices in the Falls area that are much better. -

My boyfriend and I went here on a Friday night recently. We're from the Niagara Region, so we weren't expecting much, (I'm blown away that people travel thousands of miles to come to the falls. I'll sum it up for any one who's never been. It's one street, full of strip joints, run down dirty businesses, and on every corner there's a crack head, true story. Everything is over priced, and tacky, and this is the last place on earth I'd visit to celebrate anything meaningful) Ok getting back to the dinner...
The place was packed, and very loud and dark. Our waitress seated us in a corner where our table was basically pushed against a wall. The food was about 20 something a plate for meals (+1 star), but they are rather large portions (+1 star) I ordered a calzone, which was actually pretty good, and it was massive! I didn't even finish half of it.
When we were finished, our waitress completely forgot about us, because we waited for quite some time before we got our cheque. I asked to have my meal packed up, and she again, forgot about us. We waited another 15 minutes before she came back with my meal, and our change. I understand restaurants get busy, but it would be nice if the employees could at least apologize or acknowledge that they made us wait.
To top it off, I got really sick from the Calzone, not fun. -

We decided to try this restaurant since it was featured on Man v. Food. Not impressed. The food was neither memorable nor very tasty. I even failed to finish my dessert--which is extremely rare for me. Also, the tables and floors were very sticky.

I didn't look this up beforehand, but this place was recommended as a good family restaurant by 2 hotel employees and my niece's boyfriend. Googled it and it had 10 readers choice awards. Thought we were good to go.
Got to say that it started out going from bad to worse. The spinach artichoke dip was good if it was called cheese dip with the occasional spinach artichoke thrown in. Pita bits were nice and crunchy but the tortilla chips weren't, not that they were stale but it lost it's crispness and were getting soft and chewy.
Pizza you could find better in the frozen aisle. Ribs were horrible. Seafood pasta had shrimp were they must have meant size. They were tiny. I'd rather they give 2-3 big ones than many small ones. They were about the size of a nickel if that.
Worse was they forgot my order. 5 minutes after everyone else's orders came I had to ask about mine. I got steak blue rare, mine should have been a quick meal which shortly arrived after an apology.
I will give credit to the wait staff, they were friendly, but the food was terrible. The wait staff is the only reason they got 2 stars. -

I Dislike this restaurant, the food was horrible, everyone returned their food!
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!
It is more of a bar for locals, there are so many other restaurants you could try while in Niagara, do not waste your time trying this one.
Everything was burnt, out garlic bread didn't come until our meals had already arrived, it was noisy and "dirty feeling" -
