my pen pal back in college used to rave about Mexx. she would send me earrings or bracelets in her packages to the U.S. since then, i had been curious as to what Mexx was like.
when i had finally made it to Vancouver when i was 19... i was able to check it out. for many years after that, i've been returning to Mexx to grab essential accessories or gifts for friends.
personally, this brand was more my style back in college. also, nothing even fits me in here! LOL. the staff here are typical locals. kind of snobby, very fake-enthusiastic and plain slackers. i don't enjoy my service here ever.Listed in: Van-Titty-Comittee

I love the clothes they have here, its kind of like another Club Monaco. Mainly shirts and pants, sweaters etc. Price is roughly about the same some cheap some expensive. I got a spiffy pair of pants and a jacket from this place. They also have pretty good service here, smiles and laughs.
The only other Mexx that Ive been to is in Taipei, I guess Im lucky there is one in YVR which is a lot closer..
I kind of wish they had one here in SF....how come there are so many things that YVR has that SF is missing~!?! But maybe then again I should just move to YVR.... -

I used to shop at Mexx alot back in the day....I was much skinner then so I didn't notice that the clothes were so small...now years latter..and a few pounds heavy...Mexx clothes seem REALLY small....
The cuts of the clothing are really only for 2 body types..big muscle men that want to wear tight clothing to show off all their hard work at the gym...and small manorexic gay men...being that I am neither I can no longer wear anything from Mexx...and not that I would want to as the style is..well..meh...it hasn't really changed in a few years..like trapped in a clothing time warp..dress shirts and ties..tight knit sweaters..sweater vests..
You would have so many better options on Robson to shop...don't feel bad if you have to skip Mexx.. -

I love the clothing here. I wish they had one in the States. I still have a skirt I got from them. I think there rival is with BR in Canada. But they do little unique twist in there clothing line but still can wear everyday. This is one of my fave stores to visit when I go to Van. I usually go shopping crazy there and in some ways that's not good. Love the store!

To me I think this place is almost like a Gap or Banana Republic, when we were shopping at Metrotown there was a Mexx store for kids. I didn't really care for the selection much this time given that summer is here and all I saw was long sleeves, button ups, or suits! Yeah thanks but no thanks.

these guys had a great sale going on. even my lousy exchange rate could not stop me from buying here...the clothes are cut more on the "fit" and not athletic side (similar to Zara's) so my options were limited, but, i did end up with a few items.
the service was very helpful. -

Just terrible. That's all I have to say about their service. My friends and I will definitely not forget nor forgive this store. So what happened? Lets see, well my friend bought $700 worth of clothes from Mexx Pacific Center, which she had to return. We went to Mexx on Robson for convenience's sake. They told us to go back to Pacific Center to return it. We really did not want to go back and insisted that they do the return for us, since there is no rule where we had to return our purchase at the original store. We ended up only returning one of the suits since they refused the return of the other suit since its a "promotional item". The girl from Mexx Pacific Center told my friend she could return all of it if the suits did not work out. So we relayed this information to the guy who was helping us at Mexx Robson and he still refuses the return. And while we were talking to the manager, two of his associates stared us down and gave us dirty looks! Also, the guy who was doing the refund did not know how to do a refund! He charged the card for the suit again and tried to get my friend to sign for the purchase, the did a refund twice! This lack of experience and terrible attitude is the reason to never shop at this place again! My friend and I wasted 2 days at Mexx Robson trying to do a refund. Day 1: doing the refund. Day 2: going back because they did it wrong.
