This place is the real deal. They've been renovating the place and have some kind of resort theme, including a buffet on the night I was there. No thanks, I want it fresh. They've got an amazing authentic menu, pupusas, enchiladas, tostadas, I think tortas there too. Most things run in the $15 range but tacos cheaper. And they've got all the fillings you want; pico de gallo, asada, pastor, chorizo. Love it!! Home made tortillas I think. They've even got a store in the back selling Mexican ingredients.

Mex I Can is kitschy and reasonably priced. The food is decent (just decent - as it says below, don't expect to be wowed), and the burritos are massive. The chorizo tacos are fairly bland, but still some of the better ones you get north of the 49th border. Great rice and beans, but that's pretty hard to screw up.
The service left a little to be desired. We were one of two tables in the restaurant and it still took 10 minutes to get a glass of water, ten more minutes after I asked for a refill, and the next refill didn't even come at all even when I asked for more.
Order the guacamole to start - it's delicious and the chip to guac ratio is excellent. -

I went to this restaurant after being told by so many in Hamilton that this was THE best Mexican you can find. I was pretty disappointed. The food is definitely good, but not much beyond your generic Mexican restaurant. If you want a decent burrito or taco, this is the place for you, but don't expect to be wowed.
