Review from Amanda B.
Ottawa, ON
Metro News Ottawa edition is a pretty decent free paper. You can grab from a ton of different locations all over the city. I used to read it on the bus or O-Train when I was a student at Carleton. The paper is mostly comprised of local news, but they do include national and global news as well. There's also a business section, but I find that Metro Ottawa covers a lot more sports and entertainment. I also feel like it's geared towards younger audiences, like teens and young adults, which is probably why there's so much sports and Hollywood news. There's even a section at the end with horoscopes, a crossword, and a Sudoku puzzle, which are actually quite popular amongst those that want to kill time while in transit. You'll also notice a ton of ads, but that's to ensure that it stays free.
