Review from Alicia C.
Hamilton, ON
Every single time I walk into this grocery store, I look on the shelves only to find something has expired. I have found 2-week expired bottles of Sunny Delight, a year expired salad dressing, endless amounts of expired bread products and even expired sour cream.
At first, it was always the Stone Church location I went to, until I recently moved. I gave the location on Upper Gage and Fennell a chance and not to my surprise, the same problem existed there.
I actually wrote a letter to Metro specifically to state my disappointment with their products. The manager did call me when they received my complaint, but nothing was done about the expiration dates and the fact that they are selling old products. I have since been sent many coupons for discounts and bonus air mile reward points and I STILL won't shop there. The prices are high and the food quality is low. There isn't anything else to say about this place. It disgusts me.
