MenuPalace .com. It did not age well. RIP
Once-upon-a-Time, it was a popular Bookmark of mine.
Offers of Restaurant Menus, Photos, Recommendations.
Back when Restaurants thought the Web was about Spiderman.
The Restaurant websites were FLASH(y), interactive, easy-on-the-eyes.
Most importantly, it had Menus which we now all take for granted.
I would look up every Menu when a new establishment is added.
From Restaurants perspective, the Web Designs were great Marketing tools.
As the ever-growing trend of Diners browsing the World Wide Web.
This was way before any Online Group Coupons were ever offered.
Targeting Restaurants as their revenue-source, MenuP forgot their own site.
The Search Function ONLY searches thru its own Database of Restaurants.
That Database Listing is minimal and doesn't provide proper representation.
The Top Category selections has finally reached the 21st century.
It's still quite useless, never used it back then, never use it now.
Primarily providing Web Design(Product) & Hosting(Service), excellent. (+0.5 star)
Plenty of those Restaurant Websites provide both Host & Guest the info needed.
It's just unfortunately that everybody with a computer in-this-day-and-age,
has the basic know-how to create a basic Webpage while there's no lack
of Innovative and Design-minded talent out there fighting for the same
Cu$tomers(Restaurants & Hospitality).
That's enough critique of MenuPalace for now. I won't even go into it's Sitemap.
North America's Ultimate Restaurant & Hospitality Guide(?), Methinks not!
As Nostalgia, I would still visit MenuPalace for old-times-sake.
To check and see if any New Listing pops up every few Months or so.
By today's standard, it's like waiting for iPhone 5 to come out. zzzZZListed in: Feb Diets
