This is a wonderful 16th century museum located in the Mennonite hotbed of Steinbach. It is a deceptively large museum with around 27 buildings on 40 acres of land. There are multiple homes, a school, church, barn, general store amongst many other buildings. There are also cows, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits and a horse drawn cart. There are large collections of farm equipment, automobiles, trucks, a fire engine, a caboose and of course tractors including a steam powered one. There is also an operational windmill, the only one in Canada. It's worth the trip to Steinbach for this museum.
Admission is $10 per adult. Expect to spend at least two hours in the museum.
