This property management company cares little for the people who live in the buildings it manages, and even less for the people who are former tenants.
Upon leaving my rental unit, for which I paid consistently and on time, I was asked not only to pay for some minor issues with the unit, I was also not allowed a resonable grace period to respond with payment.
Melchior sent me a bill and I paid it less than a week after receiving it. Three days after putting the cheque in the mail, I got a letter from a collection agency asking for the payment. After calling Melchior Management, I was informed that they now would have nothing to do with me, and that I was expected to write ANOTHER cheque and send it to the collection agency.
They don't care about customer service, and they care even less about good business practices. I would recommend trying to avoid them at all costs, since their property management is only about the bottom line instead of making a tenant's stay somewhat enjoyable. You'll find yourself paying for costs that were not included in the lease throughout your tennancy.
