I love small friendly diners that seem to take you out of a big city and place you in a small town. Meadow's Lunch is one of these places and it especially stands out amongst all the pricey Italian restaurants that surround it on Preston. The prices are extremely reasonable, the staff is very friendly and the clientèle are mainly regulars.
I've only had breakfast here, but I was pleased with my meal. For about $5 I got a full two egg breakfast (eggs, toast, hash browns, tea/coffee and bacon/sausage if I wanted it). I also somehow got a large chocolate milk included with the price, but I doubt that's something to always expect. The food isn't exceptional: it's what you normally get at a cheap breakfast joint, but it's the atmosphere I especially enjoy. I'll definitely come back again.
