McNak is definitely the best recruitment experience I have had across the three continents I have worked in. Friendly, straightforward and effective advice takes the stress out of the job hunt.
I recently returned to Vancouver after working overseas and was referred to McNak by a friend. After sending my resume via email I received a call from Bradley within a few hours and we set up a meeting.
The office is centrally located downtown and made easy to find by the map I was sent. During my meeting with Bradley I felt he really listened to what I was after and tried to explore and understand my specific skills. We discussed various job scenarios I have experienced and what I enjoyed and didn't enjoy about previous roles, as well as what roles I would like ideally. Bradley was extremely personable and honest. His feedback was constructive and very helpful. I was also introduced to other members of the team. They all seemed so keen and positive regarding prospects and possibilities and I left feeling very optimistic about the opportunities ahead.
I highly recommend this business as they are effective, offering me work two days after meeting, very friendly and honest.
I have already referred one friend and will continue to do so. The benefits of working with a smaller, more personable recruitment firm are apparent in the confidence you feel leaving their office.
I don't hesitate in giving 5 stars to McNak! -

McNeill Nakamoto has been absolutely amazing- or should I say Bradley has been absolutely amazing! Bradley took the time to meet with me, fully understand what I was looking for in a career, and was very accomodating. Even when times got rough and job positions became sparce- Bradley would follow up to see how I was doing and helped me through my frustration. I had done about 2 temporary assignments for McNeill when he placed me with my current job. I am a permanent employee with this company and am extremely happy. Bradley has a great talent for matching up personalities to a perfect work environment and really takes the time to hear you out. I *heart* McNak!!!

I did end up getting a great job on my own, and I can say that McNeill Nakamoto Recruitment had no part in it. They have a limited selection of jobs and a small network. You're better off contacting the organizations you are interested in working for and asking for any job opportunities they might have. In the job search industry, employers would rather hire a good job candidate WITHOUT agency attachment.
