We took our rescue in to have a check. She was Ill but it wasn't an emergency. It was quiet in there and we found the desk staff co-operative and engaging. The Vet was great with us and most importantly, our dog. The price was a lot lower than most vets so I was surprised. I will definitely return for all my vet needs.

We took our 5 month old puppy into the emergency at about 3am a couple weeks ago. She woke up coughing and we thought she was choking on something. We went home with some meds that would reduce swelling in her throat.
We did a search on YouTube and diagnosed her having kennel cough. The vet didn't even ask about that or mention it. We ended up having to spend another $100 for a visit to our regular vet the next day for some more medication and a proper diagnosis. -

I apologize that this review is a bit dated as I was there back in May (I really need to keep on top of my yelping).
Had the unfortunate need to take my pup into the clinic on a Saturday evening and McKnight is the closest so thought I'd give them a try.
Is in a great location for anyone in the NW or NE with good access to McKnight and Deerfoot (obviously important if you're trying to get there in a hurry). Facility is clean, well lit (maybe a little too well lit) and lots of room. Desk staff were helpful and friendly and made quick work of admitting us. While I realize that they're an emergency clinic and patients (even the furry ones) are dealt with on a priority basis that I waited around for almost 4 hours seemed excessive. Don't get me wrong, I'd wait as long as it takes for my beloved puppy to get the care he needed but they just seemed a little disorganized.
That said Dr. Kimura was through in her exam and tried to ease my concerns.
Would have rated higher if they could iron out some of their staffing/capacity issues but wouldn't hesitate to return as I sincerely believe they have the best interest of my little guy at heart. -

Since we have moved, we decided to look for a new vet closer to our new place. We wanted one that would have emergency capabilities, so in case there was a 2am emergency, they would have all his history on file as needed. Our other criteria was for it to be a private clinic.
My first visit here was because of our foster dog, so not up to us. The vet was extremely friendly and kind, and just great with our shy foster. After this visit, I thought we would give them a try as our own vet clinic for our dog.
His first visit was for a sprained leg. The vet was so nice, and explored all options for us and our dog. The staff was all great. 2 days later, they did a follow-up call to find out how he was doing. The vet-tech gave some great over the phone advice.
We're very happy with making them our new vet. A great family-owned business that also helps local rescues.Listed in: For your dog!
