Thursday, 19 January 2012, my second trip to McKnight Grill.
The interior is average, a throwback to the restaurant/filling station days in the US (a diner known as a dive) but don't let that fool ya. The food rocks.
Even at 10:00am, I was allowed to order lunch. I ordered the Bison Burger with FRESH mozza and french fries for $9.75. It took about 5-10 minutes (mostly because they had to fire up the deep fryer for the fries). So worth, the burger, vegetables (onions/tomatoes), and mozza were so FRESH (there's that word again, FRESH). They have an array of sodas and teas as such in a cooler.
As we were entering, one of the either manager or owners was on the way to a local source for their food. This menu consists of local ingredients whenever possible and the quality is tasteable. Is that even a word?
Always friendly, and open most of the day (from 0600 to 1800 or later as it says on the business card).
