It's McDonald's. What do you expect. It's fast food! You know what you're going to get, it's not rocket science or a box of chocolates. Just like most any other McDonald's, just some people are nicer at some stores and that does make a difference. Most of the people here are pretty nice. The dollar parfait is pretty good. I still like the fries and the big drink for $0.69 is rockin'. Later tater!

Ok, I get it.....it's a McDonalds however when did fast food not become fast food?
Food is typical of what you'd find at any Mickey D's although the service here is extremely slow. I was contemplating going through the drive through on Saturday afternoon but that was at least a dozen deep so I figured I'd take my chances walking in. Bad choice as all the focus was placed on the drive through window. There was a line of at least 8 deep at the register however only one person working the till.
When my order was finally filled, I got to listen in on the girl who had my food and her manager talk about what time she was supposed to get off, meanwhile, holding my food in her hand.
Next time, give me my food and let me get out of there. There is a reason that I asked for it to go. -

This review is long overdue. This McDonald's has the worst service and quality ever! Just one example...I order an Angus mushroom burger and one of the fricken buns was missing. Are you kidding me!!!
Seriously...McDonald's is doing a disservice just keeping this place open.
Avoid this McDonald's at all cost! -

With the Yelp Talk abuzz about the new Maple & Fruit oatmeal recently, it was on my to-try list.
With my coupon in hand, I went today. It was pretty good. I love the fruit combination. The oatmeal part was also good. With the maple mixed in, there was a nice hint of sweetness--sweeter than Jamba Juice's.
Both are yummy, yet different oatmeal options.
The many times I've been here, the service has been good. Nothing extraordinary for a fast food place. Nothing I'd complain about either. Four stars, the best I'd give to a McDonalds unless something super delicious happens.

The strawberry banana smoothie is also pretty good. Tasted like strawberries and bananas--plain and simple. -

I always go to this McDonald's since I live right there. The inside is the redesigned style and they even have spin the wheel contests to win more McDonald's. What a vicious cycle.
Can't beat McDonald's $5 20 piece either and the staff here is very friendly. -

McDonald's is the worst food in terms of quality and how much sugar and fat there is. The movie Supersize Me shows just how disgusting McDonalds food really is. I almost never eat there, but if I had to, I would go with the filet o fish. I really don't like how they market it to kids, it's causing a big problem for our children with obesity, diabetes, cholesterol, and overall bad health.

Mcdonalds fries are so good!
This location always has a huge line!! The guy that works the drive thru in the mornings is super friendly and even though he has been there for as long as I remember, he is not super sized yet.
This location is super stingy with the hot sauce packets and a huge problem for a hot sauce lover like me! -

I love this McDonald's. I can't stress this enough. As a huge McDonald's fan (and no, I am not fat, thank you!) I've been to TONS of McDonald's in search of unique restaurants with old advertising characters/signs/anything.
While Poway McDonald's is far from unique, it's the staff here that really make it special to me. I come here so often I'd be considered a 'regular.' The staff know our voices from the drive-thru speaker. They're always happy, joking, fun ALL the time. They're pretty fast as well. And the restaurant itself is always clean.
They really do a great job keeping the restaurant looking nice. The employees are always having a great time (especially at night!), and they're really keen on customer service. -

I have recently stopped eating here b/c McDonald's, as a corporation, is advertising during the Michael Vick show on BET (convicted Felon for dog fighting!!) and they refuse to remove their advertising...
But even before that, I would ONLY EVER go there if I needed to!
The one just down the road (slightly west of the I-15 in Rancho Penasquitos) was WAAAAAAYYYYYYY better!
The Poway location - they are SOOOOOOOO slow! If you are in ANY kind of a hurry, DO NOT GO THERE!
Both drive thru and in restaurant lines took just SO long! (always!)
Oh - AND other locations are cheaper! They are franchises, so their pricing varies per location and the Poway location tended to not have the special pricing of others... -

It's McDonalds, so obviously you can find your favorite artery-clogging cardboard burgers here. I haven't eaten here for twenty-odd years, but I hear it taste the same as it always has.
Their one, well two, redeeming menu items are the extra large ice tea for $1.09 and ice cream for $0.75. Those I rate highly just for their price level, but I still can't get myself to rate this joint anywhere above the one star. There are so many better burger places in San Diego to visit.
The ice tea is not always listed at that price, but ask and thou shall receive. -

Okay, it's a McDonalds so start there. That said the service is good, the restaurant is clean, and the little center area has actually comfortable chairs to sit and read with a drink. Free wifi...can't complain about that. Sometimes the dining room closes ahead of posted hours if it's slow.

Seriously, i have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and consider myself a Happy Meal expert but i am continually "T-ed off" at this McDonalds location (girl toys for my son when they asked and i said 'boy', real coke when i wanted diet, old toys from previous promotions when i ask if they have the new toy dejour) and if you go back to make it right you get hiiiiigh amount of attitude (even when you are pleasant) I know customers suck I have worked food service before, but please try!

I don't care for this type of food, but my son's favorite meal is here. I am giving the high rating because I almost always get great service here. There are some long time employees working here and it is always a pleasure to see them.

This Mcdonald is always higher in price than any other Mcdonald close by....
Not only once do they not have the promotions as other Mcdonald like the sausage mcmuffin 2 for $3.50 deal, but even when they offer some of the promotion (such as the free Southwestern chicken sandwich with the purchase of drink) my bill of that a drink will be a lot higher than other close by Mcdonald, like the Carmel valley one!
