DO NOT ENTER!!!!!!! Heed my warnings. Turn back or face the consequences with your life.
I was in desperate need of a room. I had been participating in an event in Waterloo which pretty much took out every hotel from there to Cambridge. It was late, and I needed to be back by 7am. My plan previously was to return home to Toronto and come back in the morning, but the schedules changed and I ended up being there much later than anticipated. I was tired, and desperate.
My GPS sent me to this block, and all I wanted was a room to essentially take a long nap.
Upon arrival I should have turned back, but again desperation seeped in.
The room was dirty, the bathroom was obviously not cleaned, there was food left in the fridge, and the room smelled like a homeless person. Maybe it's aptly named the Mayflower because it smelt like a ship full of English separatists at the end of its 66 day journey.
However the room did offer a luxurious waterbed (insert sarcasm meter here --- I felt the bottom of the floor upon getting into it). The pillow was an orange piece of foam in a pillow case.
I was told there were no other rooms available, and I spent the next hour going to a few other motels near by without much luck.
It was either going to be my car or this dump. Essentially I slept in the chair without changing my clothes. I should have just stayed in the car.
