Review from Richard S.
Vancouver, BC
I've been here 3 times since my initial review. 2 more cleanings and a mouth guard. All 3 additional visits have been efficient and friendly.
My teeth are in good shape so they've suggested a longer duration between X-rays, to be followed by an even longer duration should there continue to be positive results.
I have found this dentist to be very trustworthy, and I have no qualms about continuing to go here. An additional thanks goes out to my RDH (Gennelle P.) for continuing to do a great job.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Michelle H.

Cheerful and friendly staff, very clean and modern looking clinic. I had a few regular cleanings here and was very happy until I needed a root canal and crown done...
I was told the price upfront which was a lot, but it was expected. First of all, it took a verrrrry long time, the dentist was letting her assistant do most of the work, I felt a bit like a guinea pig being poked and prodded. So they finish and I go up to pay and the receptionist tells me the price but it was $300 more than they originally had told me. I asked why, it's because not only did they do the root canal, but a filling too! This came as a total shock to me, no one asked or told me this would be happening! My dental plan was all used up so I would have waited the few weeks until my new plan kicked in to get this filling covered. So THEN, once the freezing wore off I was in a LOT of pain, more than I had ever felt from being at the dentist. I went to bed to sleep it off and I couldn't even sleep the pain was so bad, so first thing in the morning I called them, they were at a conference so I had to go to another dentist who told me that my crown was not properly finished so it was causing pain deep in my nerves. Of course this dentist had to charge me, so really I paid twice for the same procedure to be done right. When I went back to Max for my permanent crown to be put on they didn't even really seem to care or apologize or reimburse me for my bill with the other dentist.
Needless to say, I am looking for a new dentist. -

I only went in for a whitening, but i think i saw the future of dental clinics. Not only does Max do whitening for life dental work, but they do regular cleans and check ups (they are a clinic after all), and they do Botox! Hilarious the amount of people i met in the waiting room who were doing botox that day. I just found it funny that people would go to a dental clinic for this. But the people there are professional and nice to deal with. Their prices are a little lower than most (about $199-299) and they do a good job.
