I love this place. Situated in an older brick apartment block in Mt Pleasant on a tree lined street, I feel imediately relaxed when I walked in. I was having horrible shoulder and neck issues & it literally went away overnight after visiting the clinic. True - this is not a Spa. You're not going to get pampered & offered a glass of wine. Having said that - if you're experiencing a real issue with your body & want a professional to deliver results, go here!

I've come here for three massages as well as acupuncture and my boyfriend comes often just for the acupuncture. I've had two different masseurs. The fist one kept telling me to breathe deeply, in and out which I didn't enjoy because all I wanted was a relaxing thought-free massage. The second girl was much better but I still wouldn't rave about her.
I think the reason why I've never fully enjoyed myself here is because it's a massage and therapy clinic. I have a feeling they can do great things for your body ailments but they're not the best place to come if all you want to do is relax and enjoy a fabulous, great feeling massage.
The acupuncture though was awesome. Both my boyfriend and I agree on this. My boyfriend sees a woman called Tina who he swears by (I forget the name of the woman I saw). I can't remember a time in my life when I have been more relaxed, truly an unbelievable experience.
Be advised that they do not accept debit or credit cards - only cash or cheque. -

Like the name of this business says... MASSAGE THERAPY CENTRE.. that's just what it is... an establishment that does massage therapy in addition to acupuncture and reflexology. Don't expect a zen sanctuary when you visit, as this is not a spa.
When you step into this quaint neighbourhood clinic, you feel like you have entered someone's cottage home. The atmosphere is "laid back" and the staff are extremely down to earth. Don't be surprised to see the owner's dog hanging out in the waiting area with the clients.
They have over a dozen of therapists working various days of the week. Quite easy to book an appointment since they have so many therapists on hand. The therapists all have varying years of experience. What's wonderful is that they have bios on each of their therapists on their company website.
I have had appointments with 2 of their massage therapists and have found that they both have very different styles. Finding and choosing a massage therapist is such a personal thing that I will not rate the actual therapy sessions.
What I can say is that this clinic strives to promote overall health and wellness to their clients. The therapists seem to be dedicated to their job and genuinely enjoy treating their clients.
The only downside to this clinic is that it is housed in an older building. Thus the walls are paper thin and the floor boards are creaky. You can feel and hear anybody that walks by your treatment room. And don't be surprised to hear the entire conversation between the patient and therapist in the next room.
The rates are very reasonable. 30 mins - $47; 45 mins - $65 ; 60 mins - $85
NOTE: There may have been a recent rate hike. I recommend calling ahead to check on the rates.
