Massage Addict is one of the best places to go for a massage, ever.
Their system is based on a subscription: if you sign up for a year's membership, you get one free massage per month. In addition, you can purchase an unlimited amount of massages at the member-discounted rate. To sweeten the deal, members of your immediate family can use your membership to obtain the discounted rates.
I went to Massage Addict when I had a severe pain that didn't resolve with anti-inflammatories over several days. I won't lie to you: it hurt. A lot. From past experiences, I thought that the next day would be agony - but surprisingly, I didn't have a single ache and the initial problem had disappeared.
I highly recommend Massage Addict. They provide a professional, discreet service for a very reasonable price. I hope they stick around Halifax for years to come. -

Love the atmosphere of Massage Addict. I'm not personally a member, however am able to make use of the discounted rate of someone else. I visited MA for my first massage last summer and it was great. They were more than willing to accommodate my specific requests. They made my first time very easy and relaxing.
My only qualm is with their lack of client followup. I have emailed them with questions (nothing overly pressing that warranted taking up someone's time on the phone) and it took them almost 2 weeks to respond. More recently I called one evening to book an appointment over the next few days. I called at 8pm (their website states they are open until 9pm), didn't get an answer so I left a detailed message, with my phone number for them to call me back. A week later, still no response. Sure, I could call them back (I'm not in dire need of a massage, I just wanted to go). but obviously following up on client requests isn't a priority for them. Will I go back? Sure. Will I expect great guest service? Not really.
